Cyberpunk 2077 Monowire Location

This guide shows where to find the Monowire location in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). The Monowire is a legendary Arm Cyberware and can be used as a melee weapon. It uses plasma wires that you can swing from your hands to dismember enemies. A great Cyberware you can find early on.

How to Get Monowire

Step 1: The Monowire is located in Watson, Kabuki district. It’s at the same place where Gig: Shark in the Water takes place. Go to the location shown on the map below.

There will be a building with neon sign “Pharmaceuticals” above its entrance. Head around the left corner outside this Pharmacy, as shown below by the red arrows.

Around the corner you find a garage door. Open it and inside is a box that contains the Legendary Monowire.

Step 2: You still need to equip the Monowire at a Ripperdoc to use it. Go to any of the  Ripperdoc in Night City. In the “Arms” Category equip the Monowire. Below it shows the nearest Ripperdoc.

Step 3: Lastly, hold / to bring up the weapon wheel and select the Monowire from there (bottom left). Now press / to do melee attacks with it. You can also hold the button for a more powerful charged attack. The Monowire can even dismember enemies. Have fun with this new tool!

Alternative – Buying Monowire

Monowire also becomes available for purchase at  Ripperdocs after reaching Street Cred 20. You can see your Street Cred Level at any time in the menu / map screen (green level in top left corner). You increase Street Cred by doing Side Activities (NCPD Scanner Hustles, Gigs, Side Jobs). Most Ripperdocs across Night City will sell them.
