Weapons still use actual ammo rounds, they are not laser based weapons – at least not the ones in the demo known so far. There is one katana that can create a shield which stops all incoming bullets. The shotgun has a charge shot which does more damage and shoots through walls more easily.
Are there Melee Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077?

What Factions are in Cyberpunk 2077?
So far, the ones confirmed from Gamescom 2018 demo (that I have personally seen): there’s an agent and an armsdealer. You can side with either, but there are likely many more and these two might have been specific to one mission. Dexter is another quest giver you meet early on.

These just affect your starting abilities, you can freely develop your character as you wish over the course of the game. NPCs have other classes such as Journalists, Rockerboys, Nomads, Fixers, Cops, Medias, Rockers, Corps, Netrunners – these are not playable classes, they are just for non-player-characters in the game world.
Do enemies have levels in Cyberpunk 2077?
Yes, they have a leveling system. You do too. Your street cred (Street Credibility) increases when you complete quests and allows you to access new areas and unlock new quests.
What attributes does your character have in Cyberpunk 2077?

- Reflexes
- Strength
- Tech
How do you raise your attributes in Cyberpunk 2077?
Two ways: by leveling up or by installing body cyberware.
How do you increase Skills and Perks in Cyberpunk 2077?
It’s worth noting that attributes only determine your overall physical being passively, skills are specific active things you can do such as hacking, crafting, short guns, long guns etc. and perks are other things (likely passive).
You increase skills by doing an action repeatedly. “Learning by doing” principle, if you hack a lot of computer terminals you become a better hacker. Perks are unlocked with Street Cred and XP.
Do you have a hideout / headquarters in Cyberpunk 2077?
Yes, V has her own apartment where he/she has her wardrobe and weapon locker.
Does the gender you pick affect gameplay?
Yes, first and foremost it affects sex scenes and romances.

Yes, when you (or enemies) shoot the environment it will fall apart. More powerful weapons such as shotgun will shoot through walls more easily.
How do you level up in Cyberpunk 2077?
So far the only 100% confirmed thing is through missions / quests. You upgrade skills by buying better body parts from the ripper doctor.
Are the razor blade arms from Cyberpunk 2077’s teaser trailer usable weapons?
Yes, they in fact are. The razorblade-looking extra “arms” that stick out of V’s hand can be used in combat to slash enemies to death.
Can you use the environment against enemies in Cyberpunk 2077?
In certain instances, yes. For starters, I saw a scene in Gamescom 2018 developer walkthrough where we stealth-killed a guy by pushing his head in a kitchen sink filled with water, then put the pistol at his head in the sink and shot him. The water dampened the sound so it counted as a stealth kill. There’s also a ricochet targeting system. You can shoot at walls and see a visual cone where the bullets will hit after they ricochet off the wall. This is a clever way to shoot enemies hidden behind cover.
Does Cyberpunk 2077 have multiplayer?
CD Projekt Red have said they are in “research phase” to bring Multiplayer to the game, but it’s not planned for launch. The primary focus of the game is it’s sci-fi RPG Singleplayer story. At this point they are just researching the possibility to include multiplayer at a later time.
That’s all the info we have so far, more will be added over time as it comes available.
