Path of Trials Puzzle is an Abyss Restoration Challenge in Crimson Desert. This guide shows the Path of Trials puzzle location and solution.
Path of Trials Location
Path of Trials is entered from the location Spire of Ringing Truth > Ether Rest > Frostbitten Paradise. It is part of the Sleet Isles cluster.
Path of Trials Solution
The path to Path of Trials is a series of platforms with fans you need to use to glide around. The fans on the walls will push you between the platforms, with the final large fans pushing you up so you can glide down to the platform with the teleporter.
You can then jump across the platforms to reach the Abyss Nexus.
All external parts of this area are extremely cold, so unless you have lots of cold resistance you will constantly take damage, so be mindful of your health. There are lanterns that you can light and stand beside to temporarily stave off the cold throughout the area.
Your first goal is to get up the cliffs on the far side, toward where you can see a door. You can jump around the ice platforms if you want, but it’s easier to boost yourself in the air with Force Palm and glide over.
Go in the room and then left through the small hallway back outside. There is ice on the floor that will cause you to slip, but if you run and jump you can get over it.
Outside continue forward where there is a power block in the slot on the wall. Pull it out of the slot and then leave it there.
You can then jump up to the next layer up. Here you can find a flat power block and a slot that it should go in, but you can’t actually do that yet because it is frozen and not working. To use it, grab it with Axiom Force and go into the doorway to the left (this was blocked by a forcefield, which is dropped by pulling the power block out just before).
Note inside it is very warm and there is a pool of lava below you. Drop to this platform and move the block into the lava for a few seconds. This will unfreeze it, so it is now visibly emitting power.
Position the block back up on the level of the platform above, then climb back up there. The next part you need to do quickly as the power block will freeze again if you are outside with it for too long.
Grab the power block and quickly move it to the open slot on the ground near where you found it, then use Force Palm to place it in the slot. If you take too long it will freeze again, and you’ll need to repeat the steps of taking it inside and sticking it in the lava.
If done correctly this will then activate the button on the wall above. Press it to restore the Abyss.
Climb to the top to collect the Abyss Artifact and complete the puzzle, along with unlocking the Frost skill. Frost allows you to the Frost skill on each character, along with allowing it to be used with Imbue Element skills.
