||
No Dragonflies Required Defeat Cybro without taking damage. |
||
Level: Middle Age Crisis boss fight
Cyborg is the boss fight from the Middle Age Crisis level. The boss fight has three phases. During phase one, as soon as the fight starts, budge the emergency flares crate all the way to the right and stay here for the entire duration of phase one. He will try to hit you with his paw and green imps will be parachuting into the tower arena. Stay in the crate line and you’ll be fine. When he ignites the emergency flare crate, wait until he’s done burning fire and then move the crate to the opposite side as soon as he’s done. Again, watch for the parachuting imps. During phase two, stay in the exact spot where the crate was during phase one and you’ll be fine because all of his attacks will land on the left side. All you have to do is watch for the imps. As soon as he’s done burning fire, move the crate back to the right side. During phase three, you’ll need to move around the crate line as he will also try to jump you dead. Again, when he uses his paw, stay in the crate line, when he stomps, always stay on the right side because he will always do this on the left side, when he tries to jump on you you’ll need to quickly move left or right depending on where he lands. The pattern is always the same. Just don’t forget about the imps. What makes this the hardest trophy in the game are the somewhat inaccurate enemy hitboxes. Clive’s extends when he flings out Wrench, meaning that it’s Wrench that must kill the enemy, not Clive. This means that in order to not get damaged by the imps, you need to press/spam a bit earlier than what you’d do intuitively. Cybro’s hitbox is a bit finicky too when he does his stomping and jumping attacks. Make sure you have extra room between yourself and him to avoid getting damaged. During the entire fight, keep an eye out for your health cake and make sure it always says 6/6. If you’ve managed to complete the boss fight without getting damaged at all, you will unlock this trophy. |

Bluebeard’s Busted Beat Bluebeard’s Gauntlet without losing all of your health. |

To make things slightly easier on you, play this level twice. One to grab all Pocketwatches and a second time to try and unlock this trophy. ||
Dr Daucus’ boss “fight” takes place right after Cybro and Olga Chestycough boss fights. Once the fight is over, this trophy will unlock. | ||
Watcher Of The Timeline Collect every pocketwatch in the main game. |
||
Clive ‘n’ Wrench features 10,000 Pocketwatches, all scattered across the different levels. Pocketwatches are always in plain sight and act as the game’s main collectible type. You will collect most of them, if not all, by the end of the game and if you’re missing any, you can always revisit levels to collect what you’ve left behind. To increase your odds, hold to use the radar which should point you to the location of the nearest Pocketwatch. Note that the Pocketwatches from SECRET1 are not required. As such, only 9,280 Pocketwatches are needed, the ones from the main levels. |
Potter13579 says
For those wondering, I have been informed that the cheat code for the Simpler Times trophy is apparently L2, R2, L1, R1, X, square, circle, triangle, and up on the D-pad all at once on the time warp main menu screen. Popped for me. Hope this helps.
FranciRoosters says
Thanks!
Chrismaudsley11 says
I seem to be missing 5 pocketwatches in the hub world. I’m on 845 of 850 and the radar seems to be pointing directly at the floor. Any advice?
FranciRoosters says
Mmm… Where exactly in the hub world does the radar point at the floor?
Chrismaudsley11 says
Just directly at the floor. Although for some reason I have 8 extra pocketwatches in the Chinese level so the trophy for collecting all pocketwatches has just popped. Super weird!!
FranciRoosters says
That’s weird indeed. I suggest you get in touch with the dev either on Twitter or Discord and notify him about the bug. He usually responds.
Mathew Pilkington says
Were you still able to unlock the SECRET1 area this way?
Vinny says
I unlocked the trophy for collecting all pocketwatches, and my total is 9279. To access the Secret1 area, it says I need 9280 pocketwatches, and I have collected them all in all the hub areas and all the individual levels. The radar thing just points up in the air, like there are no more pocketwatches to collect. So I think I have encountered a bug. Unless I am doing something wrong?
Mathew Pilkington says
Which level were you missing one in? I talked to the dev on Twitter, he said there should be a respawning pot in Hare Today, Gong Tomorrow you can smash on top of the first floor of the temple in front of you when you first start the level. It should spawn in every time you leave and come back “hopefully” (his words). I haven’t gotten to that level yet, but The Great Wen level I only collected 599/600 pocket watches and there don’t seem to be anymore. I’m hoping that respawning pot will unlock SECRET1
Mathew Pilkington says
It’s only showing I collected 599/600 pocket watches in the Great Wen level, but every time I enter it it says I’ve 100% the level and my radar just point behind me no matter what direction I face. Has anyone had this happen to them? I’d hate to beat the game and miss out on the 2 trophies related to collecting all pocket watches and have to play the game all over again. Because it’s not that good
Ben says
Hi the code for the demo screen isn’t working for me HELP!
Tanis says
I have a tip for “No Dragonflies Required”, if anyone has as hard of a time with it as I did. As the guide says, the hitboxes are kind of janky. But I noticed that Clive’s attack has a slightly farther reach in the direction he’s facing. My mistake was that I kept leaving him facing the camera while I waited out Cybro’s attacks. But if you have him face the direction the imps come from, you’ll have a much easier time hitting them with out taking damage. I failed about a dozen times before I realized that. After I did I got it on my second try.
