Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (2023) Trophy List Revealed

October 31, 2023 by PowerPyx 21 Comments

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (2023) has a total of 40 Trophies on PS4 (1 Platinum, 5 Gold, 5 Silver, 29 Bronze) / 39 Trophies on PS5 (5 Gold, 5 Silver, 29 Bronze). Below you can find the full COD MW3 (2023) trophy list & achievement list for PS4 / PS5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series X/S.

Important: Only the PS4 version has a Platinum and standalone trophy list. The PS5 list is a DLC for Modern Warfare 2 and DOESN’T have a Platinum trophy. This is an extremely unusual setup for a new main game release. The PS5 list has all the same trophies except the platinum, and it’s not a standalone list. The Steam Achievement List is also a DLC list for Modern Warfare 2 and not a standalone list.

The trophies are split between different game modes: 13 trophies in MWZ (the new open world zombies mode), 7-12 trophies in Open Combat Missions (7 of them mention this mode in the description, the rest are combat trophies possibly tied to this mode or doable across different modes), 13 trophies tied to Campaign. There’s also a trophy for reaching level 55 which could be shared between game modes (including MWZ) so might not be mandatory to play regular Multiplayer for it.

We must beat the Campaign on Veteran difficulty and there are 11 mission-specific trophies for doing unique tasks in these missions.

In MWZ the main challenge will be finishing Act III and defeating the bosses “Warlord”, and “Orcus” in a 6 player squad. Killing 50,000 Zombies for the “Slaughterhouse” trophy will be quite the grind. Because of this one trophy most time for platinum will be spent in MWZ zombies mode. In Open Combat Missions we must find all Armaments & all Weapons + Field Upgrades from Supply Boxes.

Overall a varied list. The platinum difficulty will depend on Veteran difficulty and beating the MWZ bosses. The main time consuming task will be 50,000 zombie kills and reaching level 55. If there’s Mission Select like previous COD games nothing should be missable.

What are your thoughts on the Call of Duty Modern Warfare III (2023) trophy list? Do you like what you see? Are you going for the Platinum? For all solutions check out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) Trophy Guide & Roadmap.

Killing orcas with a 6 person squad will be a challenge, mainly getting 6 people together

Shitlist, because of 6 man people trophy. Hate stuff like this. Games with randoms will be pain, as always. Kids will be leaving and disconnect after every death.

I reckon the Orcus one will be easy. There are multiple squads per zombies game, just send a request to join them or they join you and you should be good. Getting the actual kills though might be a bit difficult

I’m the only one who has the Modern Warfare 3 trophies as DLC for Modern Warfare 2 and therefore no platinum ?

I couldn’t believe it when I saw it, but on PS5 the trophy list is a DLC for Modern Warfare 2 and doesn’t feature a Platinum.
Only the PS4 version has a standalone trophy list and Platinum.

    What the heck Activision!?

It’s really strange, doesn’t make any sense. Naughty Dog did something similar with Uncharted Legacy of Thieves

Now everyone who has been saying Modern Warfare III is just £70 DLC has even more reason to say so. It’s pathetic that the PS4 version has a Platinum trophy, but not the PS5 version? That makes no sense… I hope people boycott this game and that it’s one of the worst selling CODs in over a decade (I know it will still sell millions, but even Vanguard sold bad enough to be considered a commercial disappointment).

This is a horrible way to have the trophies. No platinum on ps5? By this point we should be prioritizing current gen. And all the zombies trophies…wth?…wierd

For some reason, at the time of writing this comment, it looks like none of the MP/MWZ achievements are on the Steam achievement list. They only added 25 achievements to the CoD launcher (instead of 39) on top of the original 24. I wonder why that is?

Proves the game was always a dlc for MW2. Not the standalone game they claimed it was. I wasted money buying vault edition for early access to a game i cant platinum. Last cod for me after this.
