The Homestead is a side mission in Borderlands 3 (BL3). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Homestead Side Quest.
The Homestead is unlocked when you reach The Splinterlands during main mission Blood Drive.

Requirement: Reach The Splinterlands during main mission Blood Drive
Recommended Level: 26
Reward: $3,427 + 3,063 XP
Mission Info: The Honeywells are crazy, hippie, scientist-farmers, and they need your help restoring their homestead to its former glory.
Objectives:
- Meet Ma Honeywell
- Collect fuse
- Collect wind turbine core
- Return to Ma
- Install wind turbine core
- Place fuse
- Return to Ma

Meet Ma Honeywall
After accepting the mission, Ma Honeywell asks you to meet her over at her homestead. Head over to the marked spot on your map.
Collect Fuse
Ma Honeywell asks you to go get a few items for her that the COV “borrowed” for the festival. Head around to the East first to get to the location where the fuse is.
Head inside and “nicely ask” anyone on the way up to the top of the hill, then grab the fuse.
Collect Wind Turbine Core
Head back to your vehicle, then to the South-West to the area with the wind turbine core.
Head inside through all the racket, and take back the core to give them a break from their noise. One of Zer0’s Targets of Opportunity is actually in this room for you to deal with too.

Return to Ma
Now that you have both parts, head on back to Ma at the Homestead.
Install Wind Turbine Core
Ma Honeywell asks you to place the items for her. Head over the small bridge into the larger area and place the turbine core in its spot inside the building.
Place Fuse
Head back to the front gate and put the fuse in its place.
Return to Ma
Head on back over to Ma and speak to her to complete the mission and get your reward.
This finishes The Homestead side mission in Borderlands 3. Now the next quest The Homestead (Part 2) becomes available.
