Biomutant All Side Characters Locations

Biomutant has 23 Character Locations. Finding all Side Characters unlocks the Social trophy or achievement. The trophy description says to find “all 16 side characters” but there are actually more than that. A few are likely counted as Main Characters though. The 16 that the trophy wants are likely the ones that give a Side Quest in the Journal, but you should talk to all 23 to be safe. The best way to go about this is to play through the story until you defeated the 4th World Eater, then you can still go around the open world to reach all Characters. During the story you are directed to many side characters automatically.

None of them are missable. However, after the story there’s no free roam and you get put back in the main menu to start New Game+. Make sure you keep a manual save after defeating the 4th World Eater boss, then you can reload this save to continue free-roaming and talk to all Characters.

When you meet a new character a short cutscene will play that zooms in on them and shows their name. Also talk to them afterward to make sure it definitely counted. Once you’ve discovered them, they will show up on the map with their unique character icon.

This guide lists all character locations in the order they are closest together, going from south to north.

All Characters

Character #1: Lump

Located in Floatboat.

 

Character #2: Gulp

Located at Sinkidink. To reach this you need the “Googlide” (boat). It’s obtained automatically from Main Story Quest “Gumquacks?”

Character #3: Goop

Located at Subnautica Station. You meet him here during Main Quest “The Soaked One”.

 

Character #4: Gizmo

Located at Chugyard by Bricktown. You meet him here during Main Quest “The Recyclopedian”.

 

Character #5: Klick

Located in Anywhere.

 

Character #6: Moog

Located in Steepdeepo. This is the no-oxygen area that requires the Mekton to stay alive (automatically unlocked from story progress, main quest “Moog Knows”). You actually meet Moog as part of a main story quest.

 

Character #7: Boom

Located in Puffduff Bluff.

 

Character #8: Pebble

Located in Knack Hill (no character on map).

 

Character #9: Jumble

Located in Bullibull Glade.

 

Character #10: Chubsa

Located at Glurp Paddock (no character model on map).

 

Character #11: Trim

Located in Spurftop.

 

Character #12: Honki

Located at Sprill Slope.

 

Character #13: Out-of-Date

Located at the World Tree (moves here after you defeat one of the World Eaters). You first meet him during the Prologue and then can meet him here later during Main Quest “The Masterplan”.

 

Character #14: Juju

Located in Faraway.

 

Character #15: Mito

Located in Brightlight.

 

Character #16: Noko

Located at Gnoat Pen. You meet her here during Main Quest “The Gnoatgroomer”.

 

Character #17: Nova

Located in Watchout.

 

Character #18: Whiz

Located at Surgesurf Factory. You meet him here during Main Quest “The Tinkertonker”.

 

Character #19: Gill

Located in Burblebottom.

 

Character #20: Chu-Chu

Located at End-of-the-Line.

 

Character #21: Maya

Located in Hex Hut.

 

Character #22: Lobo

Located at Blimp station.

Note: Requires Heatzone Suit. To get it you must complete Side Quest “The Heatzone Suit”, which you get automatically when entering this area (or any other Heatzone) for the first time. You can track it from the Pause Menu > Map > / Journal > Side Quests > The Heatzone Suit. It marks a waypoint called “The Heat Zone Pingdish” which requires you to use a big satellite that reveals the Heatzone Suit location. Alternatively, you can also put on other armor pieces that give Heat Resistance and upgrade your Resistances with Bio Points in the Upgrade Menu (Character > Mutations > Upgrade Resistances).

 

Character #23: Sol

Located in Out-and-About.

Note: To reach this place you must complete the side questline from Lobo (the other side character found in the Kluppy Dones Heatzone). This will unlock the blimp which allows you to fly to the island where Sol is found.
