Balan Wonderworld: Chapter 5 Balan Statue Locations

Chapter 5: The Lady filled with Avian Adoration has 25 Balan Statue Locations in Balan Wonderworld. The game has 300 Balan Statues in total. When you start the game it will show only 228 Statues in the Menu but another 72 unlock after beating the story, that’s how it’s 300 total. Finding all of them unlocks the Balan’s Happy Chappy trophy or achievement.

Some important information about the statues:

• You can’t collect all the statues immediately, some of them require costumes found in later levels.
• You can change your costumes at each checkpoint by holding any of the 4 face buttons and entering the changing room, you will however need to have some spare costumes collected in the level the costume appeared in, if a costume gets replaced in your inventory of 3 in a level, it will end up in your wardrobe.
• There are 12 Chapters and each is divided into 4 Acts. The 4th Act (actually called “Secret Act 3” in-game) only unlocks after finishing the story!
• Most Statues are hidden in the world. The rest is for completing Balan’s Bout with a score of excellent (4 perfect hits in the minigame). You start this minigame by collecting a golden hat in each Act.
• Each boss fight has 3 statues which you unlock by hitting them with 3 different methods, these are listed below as well.
• During the story collect what you find on your own, then unlock Balan’s Costume after the story, it allows you to fly around to reach all Collectibles easily.

Chapter 5: The Lady filled with Avian Adoration

Act 1

Statue 1 – Only reachable with either Leap Frog from Chapter 2 Hidden Act 3 or Balan. It will be at the top of area with a bunch of Lickshot Lizard targets early in the level.

Statue 2 – Very easy to find, it is where you get the Lickshot Lizard for the first time.

Statue 3 – In the area with the multitple see saws, it will be behind a yellow box you need Bulldozer from Chapter 11 for.

Statue 4 – In the same area as the last one on the left of the see saws.

Statue 5 – On top for the wooden chandelier-like architecture hangind from the ceiling in one of the rooms. You can use Leap Frog or Balan to get there from the same room or go right from the see saws to reach it.

Statue 6 – At the very end of the level on top of some wooden planks.

Statue 7 – Balan Bout – Almost at the very beginning of the level, around the corner. – Finish Balan’s Bout with 5x Excellent Score to unlock it.

Statue 8 – Balan Bout – You can drop to a hidden area behind those wooden stairs to find it. – Finish Balan’s Bout with 5x Excellent Score to unlock it.

Act 2

Statue 1 – On top of some planks in the area with a see saw and some torches at the beginning of the level.

Statue 2 – Underneath the stairs in the area where you incinerate a few torches.

Statue 3- You will run across a platform with a bunch of invincible enemies, for defeating them you will be granted the Statue. You can kill them using the Sickle Slayer found in the same level.

Statue 4 – From Statue 7 Balan Bout look up to see it above a floating platform, Balan recommended.

Statue 5 – In the area with moving green blocks on a wooden plank.

Statue 6 – Can be pretty much seen from the start of the level, very easy to obtain with Balan.

Statue 7 – Very close to Statue 2, just a few jumps away. As always all Excellent ratings in the Balan Bout needed.

Statue 8 – Just a few jumps away from Statue 5.

Act 3 – Boss

1. Using Lickshot Lizard pull yourself to his stomach
2. With Guardian Bird shoot back its tornado at it
3. Hit the birdhouse attached to its tounge when it slams on the ground

Secret Act 3

Colored Statue 1 – You will need Flame Buster from Chapter 11 and Hot Head to light up all torches for it to appear.

Colored Statue 2 – You will need Inky Blaster to shoot 2 paintings for it to appear.

Colored Statue 3 – On a wooden platform very high up in this area.

Colored Statue 4 – From the area with wooden towers and a bunch of big crystals, it will be on a wooden plank a bit higher.

Colored Statue 5 – You will see it floating midair. It is protected by invisible blocks, there is a gap to its left where you can enter to reach it.

Colored Statue 6 – Inside the barrel at the very end of the level, you will need Vacuum Blaster to vacuum it in.
