Avatar Frontiers of Pandora All Windswept Doll Locations

There are 9 Windswept Doll Locations in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora (also called Shadow Puppets). Finding all Windswept Dolls unlocks the Doll Collector trophy & achievement. They are little wooden puppets. They are exclusively found in the Clouded Forest region. They are also needed to finish the side quest “The Dark Theater“, which starts automatically upon collecting the first doll.

Unlike other collectibles these are not marked on the map which makes them harder to locate. You can collect them in any order. None of them are missable, you can still find all of them after the story in free-roam. You can see which ones you found under Journal > Lost Items > Kame’Tire Dolls.

The quest description refers to them as “Shadow Puppets“, the Lost Items Menu calls them “Kame’tire Dolls“, and the trophy list calls them “Windswept Dolls“. These are all the exact same thing.

These collectibles are quite tiny and hard to see. They are all found in broken tree trunks or in caves near water. When you are within a couple meters they glow blue in Na’vi vision (press R1/RB).

Windswept Doll Locations (Shadow Puppets, Kame’tire Dolls)

Windswept Doll #1 – The Abandoned
Found inside a big tree trunk. You must drop into the trunk from above, then it hangs on a stick inside the tree trunk.

Windswept Doll #2 – The Follow
Found inside a little cave next to Nomad’s River. Walk south at the river until you see a big rock formation next to the river (east of river). You can enter the dark cave entrance from the ground level.

Windswept Doll #3 – The Sprinter
Found inside a big tree trunk. You can jump to it from the big fallen trunk next to it.

Windswept Doll #4 – The Sitting Elder
Found next to a Billsprig. Mark the “Bellsprig” on the map. It’s in a cave. You must enter the rock formation, then drop down into a pool of water at the bottom. Next to the pool of water is a hole in the wall that leads to the Bellsprig. On the left (before turning right where the Bellsprig is), is another opening in the wall where you find this doll. Basically, when standing at the Bellsprig it’s at the start of the corridor from where you came.

Windswept Doll #5 – One-Eyed Mother
Inside a fallen tree trunk. It’s at ground level, below the flying rocks, in Great Stone Swamp.

Windswept Doll #6 – The Baby Face
Found inside a small cave, in a rock formation 50 meters away from a river. Walk around this rock formation until you see the dark cave entrance. Accessible from the ground level.

Windswept Doll #7 – The Strong
Found below a big fallen tree trunk.

Windswept Doll #8 – The Siren
Found inside of a fallen tree trunk.

Windswept Doll #9 – The Blonde Adonis
Found below a fallen tree trunk.
