Astro Bot contains 430 Collectible Locations (300 Bots, 120 Puzzle Pieces, 10 Lost Galaxy Secret Levels). This walkthrough shows all collectibles in each level for 100% game completion and all trophies.
Nothing is missable, you can still replay all levels after the story and go back to all areas. If you don’t want to replay levels, the most efficient method is to collect everything on the first run. You need most bots anyway to unlock the boss levels in each Nebula.
To collect the bots simply punch them once. The Puzzle Pieces are needed to unlock new areas in the Crash Site hub area. The 10 Wormholes unlock 10 Secret Levels in the ‘Lost Galaxy’. After finishing all 10 Secret Levels you unlock the 11th Secret Level.
If you replay levels, you can buy a satellite at the start for coins that marks the collectible locations. However, you need 15,000 coins to buy 150 gatcha items for the Money Well Spent trophy, so it’s best to not spend coins on the satellites. After reaching 100% completion you will have close to 15,000 coins if you don’t spend them on satellites. If you don’t have enough coins you can always replay levels to get more.
There are 5 main Nebulas, each with 6-7 main levels, and a few side levels which are unlocked by flying into objects with the spaceship inside the Nebulas. When you hover over a level it shows how many collectibles it has and how many you still need. You can also hover over the Nebulas to see how many total collectibles there are in the sub-levels. The hub area ‘Crash Site’ also contains bots and puzzle pieces, which you obtain by interacting with the blue markers to call your bots for help. Then there are 2 extra Nebulas, one for the final story part, and one is the ‘Lost Galaxy’ that contains all 11 secret levels.
Each of the 5 Main Nebulas contains hidden 1 Puzzle Piece on the Space Map. You need to fly around the Nebula with your space ship until a UFO appears that holds the puzzle pieces, simply fly into it to collect it.

Do you have to finish the level again if you missed a bot and replayed just up to that part to get it? Or can you just quit the level when you find the missing bots? There’s some bossfights i’d rather not repeat…
Snake2410 says
You can just return to space once you get the bot or puzzle piece you’re missing. The only time you need to finish after the first is if it unlocks a Lost Galaxy level, and in that situation it automatically finishes the level so it’s no issue really.
Pan3o says
You don’t have to
Matt says
You can just quit out and the bot or puzzle will be counted
Robyn says
I just tested it with the first puzzle piece on Trapped In Time, you can leave once it’s collected
TotallyCereal says
You can quit after you’ve found the bots/puzzle pieces you previously missed
Freak_c says
You can simply leave the planet once you find the missing Bot or Puzzle piece. You don’t have to finish the level.
Bubbi says
Nope you can quit the level
Pumbey says
I have done it on 3rd puzzle piece in Spooky Time – the one just before level finish line. Collected it and quit straight into space. It didn’t count though I’m unable to collect it again as level itself does have a golden flag like I’ve cleared it. Any advice on how I should get it as don’t really want to start with everything from scratch? :/
Pumbey says
It was a free floating one within the space – thought I have already claimed it.
