Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Suthsexe Mysteries Walkthrough

November 9, 2020 by FranciRoosters 9 Comments

Suthsexe contains 14 Mysteries in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Suthsexe Mysteries Walkthrough will guide you through all Mystery Locations in the Suthsexe Territory. None of the Mysteries are missable, you can still find everything in free-roam after the story. It’s recommended to collect everything as you go through the regions to level up.

Mysteries get marked by blue icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. Mysteries are side quests and other open world encounters. Finishing all Mysteries is needed to complete all Territories for the Completionist All the Way! trophy or achievement.

Also in this region:

  • Suthsexe Wealth
  • Suthsexe Artifacts

Mystery #1: World Event (A Prayer for Vengeance)

This Mystery can be triggered under ground. 30 meters east of the mystery icon, is a hole in a rock you can shoot an arrow through to destroy a crate on the other side (image below). Then, go to the other side and move the obstacle. Upon entering the cave you should hear a Monk speak. He mentions Chertsey Abbey. This is where we need to go, which is north from where you are (it’s named on the map when you zoom in, 340 meters north). Now return to the cave and he should be there waiting for you to kill him. Killing him completes this Mystery. There is a chance that he will spawn right away and attack you without going to the Abbey, in this case just kill him and it will complete the mystery instantly.

Mystery #2: World Event (Rock of Fertility)

Talk to the woman. She wants to go to a rock and your job is to protect her from danger on your way there. Shoot any wolf coming at you. It turns out that “The Rock” is a man. Once you reach the top, this Mystery will end.

Mystery #3: World Event (Eivor the Sheepdog)

When you arrive at this Mystery’s location, a man is ranting about someone getting lost somewhere north. Very close to the Mystery’s location is a sheep on a rock being hunted by some wolves. Kill the wolves and then use your whistle to have the sheep follow you. Return the sheep to its master and after an unexpected turn of events, this Mystery will end.

Mystery #4: World Event (King of the Hay People)

Kill the Goliath.

Mystery #5: World Event (Will O’ the Wisp)

When you get to this Mystery’s location, you should see a bonfire. Someone is also speaking. Use your Odin’s Sight to identify a second bonfire nearby. Keep following the bonfires until you’ll eventually meet a man you can talk to. When you’re given a dialogue option, you can either choose to kill the bandit or give him a tip. Choosing either will end this Mystery.

Mystery #6: World Event (Alisa in Wunderlandscire)

When you get to this Mystery’s location, you should see a small cave entrance and a child’s voice in the distance. Enter the cave, pick up the girl and carry her outside to end this Mystery.

Mystery #7: World Event (Tiny Black Market)

When you get to this Mystery’s location, you should see a series of tree structures. Make your way to the one where the Mystery marker is and interact with the kid. He asks for a password. Choose Raven and then talk to the girl. Choose any dialogue option and buy it. Repeat for all purchasable options. One of the items you will receive is a Treasure Hoard Map.

Mystery #8: Legendary Animal (Aelfred’s Battle-Sow)

Kill the big bull. Take care of the other bulls if necessary.

Mystery #9: World Event (Aflanc the Terrible)

Untie the woman at the location and talk to her. At the bottom of the lake, right in front of the Mystery’s starting location, between some driftwood, is a shipwreck. Interact with the item at the bottom and then return to the daughter and the father. Give what you’ve found to Griseld and her dad and this will end the Mystery.

Mystery #10: Offering Altar

To complete this Mystery you need 50 Leather. These are easily found in small chests that are mostly found in towns and are earned by killing animals.

Mystery #11: Cairn

Here’s the solution.

Mystery #12: Fly Agaric

Defeat the horde of enemies.

Mystery #13: Animus Anomaly

Complete the platforming challenge.

Mystery #14: Treasures of Britain

Enter the mine from the entrance up the stairs. Blow up the wall and continue further on until you can slide under a crevice on your left. Move the platform to easily access the ladder and climb up. In the new area, go right and shoot the lock from the ladder. Climb up and continue on. Eventually, you’ll get to a zipline. Ride it to get to a new area with a wall you can blow up with either an Incendiary Arrow (Ability #27: Incendiary Powder Trap) or one of the oil jars in the area. Continue on the only path until you get to a big, wooden wheel. Dive into the water and continue on. You will resurface in the tablet area.

That’s 100% of the Mysteries you can find in Suthsexe Region of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV).

The correct password is Apple for #7 The Tiny Black Market. It is on a note below where the two kids are at. Doesn’t matter though. I think they take anything.

After running around, you also have to loot a nearby chest in order to complete the Mystery, not just kill the Goliath.

On #7 you find a poem in the shoe you buy from the kids and it says there is treasure on the bridge between Cent and Suthsexe. I can’t find it for the life of me. Has anyone gotten it ???

Yea it’s under the bridge though. It should be along the eastern border of suthsexe.

Great. Mystery #12 is completely bugged beyond repair for me. I can’t finish the Fly Agaric. The lynx turns back into a Joturn and turns friendly for me. No matter how often I restart the battle, what prior save I load or wether I do everything else in the region first, nothing helps. The Joturn stays friendly and I can’t finish the battle. In the past I had this issue too but it helped to run through them and they’d turn hostile after getting back up but nope – nothing helps me here. The dumb f… just stays around and threatens me. I tried letting the pther animals turn before killing them, tried to use the bow, tried to use skills, tried to run out and then back in, tried to kill the lynx faster (I can’t – not even with a special weapon and power level 400+…). I’m just annoyed to no end and after roughly 2 hours of trying I just give it a hard pass.

F… this. I give up on Platin. I don’t care for the lackluster spaghetti code Ubisoft dares to call a game anymore. I had roughly 120 hours of playtime and I’d love to know how many hours were replaying parts and finding workarounds for bugs – guess it were more than 20 hours for sure. That’s Ubisoft for you. Bugs as far as the eye can see, smfh…

Still massive kudos for all the guides as usual, pyx. The real MVP as usual.

The new updates increase the level cap past 400, is this correct? Does this mean there is a new amount of levels I must reach before being able to spend my first mastery point for that trophy? Any help would be great.
