Ledecestrescire contains 13 Artifact Locations in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This walkthrough will guide you to all Artifacts in Ledecestrescire Territory and how to get them. None of the Artifacts are missable, you can still find everything in free-roam after the story. It’s recommended to collect everything as you go through the regions to level up.
Artifact Collectibles get marked by white icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. They include the following types of collectibles: Rigsogur Fragments, Treasure Hoard Maps, Flying Papers, Roman Artifacts, Cursed Symbols. Finding all Artifacts is needed to 100% complete all Territories for the Completionist All the Way! trophy or achievement.
Also in this region:
Artifact #1: Rigsogur Fragment – Page 1
The first artifact in Ledecestrescire is found in the North-West of the region, in the area known as Repton. From the waypoint of the artifact, you will find a large building and fence to your left. Head towards that opening and inside the building’s door. Once inside, turn to your left to find a crypt. Head down into it to find the Saga Page at the bottom, on the left.
Artifact #2: Flying Paper – Tattoo Design: Vestri Wind Scheme (Back)
This Flying Paper can be found in the same town, Repton, but in the West. In this section of the town, you will find a watchtower overlooking the river ahead. Climb up it to find the Flying Paper on the beam at the top. Follow the paper on its course, across the objects and through the camp. If you are able to catch up to it, grab it, or pick it up once it reaches the end of its path (if you take too long though, it will reset).
Artifact #3: Cursed Symbol
This Cursed Symbol can be found in the West of the region, just east of Tonnastadir. In the misty entanglement of branches, trees, and fence posts, you can find the symbol hanging in-between two trees towards the central part of the area.
Artifact #4: Flying Paper – Tattoo Design: Midgard Scheme (Front)
The second Flying Paper can be found within Tamworth Fortress, which is in the center of the region. Climb up into the fortress and then make your way to the wooden scaffolding, which is above the paper floating in the air. Jump down into the haystack to set the piece of paper off on its path. Follow the paper on its course, across the objects and through the camp. If you are able to catch up to it, grab it, or pick it up once it reaches the end of its path (if you take too long though, it will reset).
Artifact #5: Cursed Symbol
The next Cursed Symbol can be found in the center of the region, just North of the Ragnarsson War Camp. The symbol is found within a burned-out building, which you can’t access. Instead, climb onto the roof and aim through the gaps in the woodwork to hit the symbol.
Artifact #6: Treasure Hoard Map (Ledecestrescire)
This map can be found in the town of Venonis, in the West. In the town, there will be a bridge, with a small dock and walkway below it. Jump down to that walkway and head through the opening beneath the main road. At the end of the room, turn to your left and destroy the box and vase against the wall. This will reveal a small gap you can squeeze through. Inside, you will find the map.
Artifact #7: Roman Artifact
In the same town as Artifact #6, head to two towers in the East. Scale both of them along the left tower, using the scaffolding and ladders (you can also climb up the core rock structure in some places but it isn’t always clear where you can jump to). At the top, on the other pillar, you can find the Roman Artifact.
Artifact #8: Cursed Symbol
This symbol can be found in the South-West of the region, West of the Alcestre Monastery. The symbol is in a small muddy area filled with poisonous gas. In the center of this area is a well. Stand on top of it and swing your weapon until you break the wooden cover. You will then drop down to an alcove, which has the Symbol.
Artifact #9: Roman Artifact
This Roman Artifact is just South-East of the town of Ledecestre, along the Eastern border of the region. In the ruins at the waypoint location, you will find a statue with a hole in the floor in front of it. Swing your sword to break the wooden cover and drop down. Follow the crypt, until you reach a statue. That statue will have the artifact in its hands.
Artifact #10: Flying Paper – Skraelingi Emblem Scheme (Head)
This artifact can be found in the same town as artifact #10, Ledecestre. In the north of the town, you will find a house with some scaffolding on it, as well as some clothes hanging. Climb up to the roof to find the Flying Paper. Follow the paper on its course, across the objects and through the camp. If you are able to catch up to it, grab it, or pick it up once it reaches the end of its path (if you take too long though, it will reset).
Artifact #11: Roman Artifact
The next artifact in this region can be found North of Ledecestre Town. As you head into the ruins, look to your right to find a ladder leading up to a platform. Climb up it and pick up a vase. Aim the vase and throw it just slightly past the far corner of the rubble down below to destroy it. In the wreckage, you can find the Artifact.
Artifact #12: Roman Artifact
The next Roman Artifact can be found along the Eastern border of the region, south of Tonnastadir. At the top a corner of the ruined building you will see a platform. Climb up to that platform and then destroy the vase in the corner to find the artifact behind it.
Artifact #13: Roman Artifact
The final Roman Artifact and the final artifact of this region can be found in the North-West corner of the region, South-West of Repton. Climb up the ladder along the left side of this partly destroyed building to the first platform. Jump to the platform next to you, the one with the statue and move the kart of wood and rocks. Behind that cart, and sitting in front of the statue, you will find the final artifact.
That’s 100% of the Artifacts you can find in Ledecestrescire Region of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV).

Akash says
Artifact 10 is bugged. Sometimes the paper doesn’t spawn at all, other times its there but doesn’t fly away when I approach. I’ve tried changing gender, reloading saves, and fast travelling but can’t fix it.
