Assassin’s Creed Valhalla How to Burn Buildings & Objects

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, some quests and raids require you to burn buildings and villages.

To start burning buildings and other objects, hold Dpad Down to open the item wheel and select the Torch.

Now throw your torch at a flammable object, indicated by hay. Hold L2/LT to aim and R3/RT to throw the torch.

When you need to burn buildings, throw the torch at the hay roof. Sometimes it doesn’t work correctly on the first try so just throw a few more torches until the roof starts burning. The fire will then spread automatically across all hay areas.

Alternatively, you can also use Abilities (learned from Ability Runes) that put your weapons & arrows on fire. But this consumes Adrenalin and is generally not recommended. Torches are free and you have an infinite amount of them.
