Hamtunscire contains 8 Artifact Locations in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This walkthrough will guide you to all Artifacts in Hamtunscire Territory and how to get them. None of the Artifacts are missable, you can still find everything in free-roam after the story. It’s recommended to collect everything as you go through the regions to level up.
Artifact Collectibles get marked by white icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. They include the following types of collectibles: Rigsogur Fragments, Treasure Hoard Maps, Flying Papers, Roman Artifacts, Cursed Symbols. Finding all Artifacts is needed to 100% complete all Territories for the Completionist All the Way! trophy or achievement.
Artifact #1: Cursed Symbol
The first Artifact in this region can be found on the island in the South of the region. At this location, you will see a small island in the middle of a lake. Swim onto the island and climb onto the wooden posts holden up the piece of fabric. Jump to the rope connected to the central platform up in the tree and shoot the Cursed Symbol.
Artifact #2: Treasure Hoard Map (Hamtunscire)
This Treasure Hoard Map can be found in the East of the region at Fearnhamme. Climb up the walls of the ruins and shoot the pulley to drop the net of rubble and destroy the floor. Drop through the gap in the floor and turn around to find the Treasure Hoard Map.
Artifact #3: Flying Paper – Tattoo Design: Valhalla Blessing Scheme (Front)
This Flying Paper can be found in the East of the region, North of Fearnhamme and just outside of the Calieva Outpost. The Flying Paper will be sat on the pillar on the right. Follow the paper on its course, across the objects and through the camp. If you are able to catch up to it, grab it, or pick it up once it reaches the end of its path (if you take too long though, it will reset).
Artifact #4: Roman Artifact
From the starting location of Wealth #3, head North to find the Roman Artifact in some ruins. Climb up the stairs and the wall at the end of the balcony. Shoot the hook holding the net of rubble and jump down through the hole in the floor to find the Artifact. Watch out for the snakes!
Artifact #5: Roman Artifact
This Roman Artifact can be found in the South-West of the region, North-East of the Wishtman’s Wood. In this area, you will see a well in the center of the ruins. Swing your weapon or shoot it with an arrow to destroy the cover and jump down. Throw a torch at the hay on the floor, in front of the blockade, to blow up the wall. Then you find the Roman Artifact behind the wall (alternatively, can use Ability #27: Incendiary Powder Trap found in the Walden Monastery in Grantebridgescire to blow up walls).
Artifact #6: Roman Artifact
This Artifact can be found in the South-West corner of the region, North-West of Werham. The Roman Artifact can be found sitting inside the ruins, on the log at the back, behind the fire.
Artifact #7: Flying Paper – Tattoo Desing: Hjarta Scheme (Front)
This Flying Paper can be found in the North-West corner of the region, inside the marshy area called Aethelnay. The Flying Paper will be at the end of the rooftop of one of the buildings. Follow the paper on its course, across the objects and through the camp. If you are able to catch up to it, grab it, or pick it up once it reaches the end of its path (if you take too long though, it will reset).
Artifact #8: Cursed Symbol
This Cursed Symbol can be found in the North of Hamtunscire, just North-West of Readingum Abbey. On the hill, there will be a group of stones and a large pool of blood. Next to this pool of blood, there will be a body and a rock which you can move. Move the body and then the rock to get access to the Cursed Symbol behind it.
That’s 100% of the Artifacts you can find in Hamtunscire Region of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV).
