Gullnamar contains 7 Mysteries in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gullnamar Mysteries Walkthrough will guide you through all Mystery Locations in the Gullnamar Territory. None of the Mysteries are missable. This region is part of the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC expansion.
Mysteries get marked by blue icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. Mysteries are side quests and other open world encounters. They include the following types: World Events, Dwarven Altars, Mythical Memories and Dwarves in Distress. Finishing all Mysteries in Dawn of Ragnarok is needed to complete all Territories for the “Over the Hills…” trophy or achievement.

Mystery #1: Mythical Memory (Har Smida)
Go down the stairs past Artifact #8 and interact with the anvil covered in golden threads.
Mystery #2: World Event (Hyrrokin’s Gift)
Kill the boar and then speak to Frodri. Follow the hobb…err, dwarf, as he rambles on about a cursed ring, a mountain and an evil witch. He’ll take a shortcut to mushrooms, eat them and get sick. Offer him a ration and he’ll feel better. Carry on walking, then kill a snake. Follow him further up to the Cracks of Doom (well, kinda) and watch the events unfold. This will end this brilliant Easter Egg.
Mystery #3: Dwarven Altar (Auga Altar)
You need 5 Pollock (Regular) for this. Urgh, more fishing. Anyway, go to the river just north of the altar and get your rod out. Once you have 5 Pollocks (they must be Regular), return and claim your reward.
Mystery #4: Dwarf in Distress
Kill the enemies and free the dwarf from the cage.
Mystery #5: World Event (Carpe Diem)
Firstly, to progress in this quest you’ll need the Instant Horde upgrade for the Hugr-Rip’s Power of Rebirth. This costs 5 Silica and 20 Living Spark, which can be found from Muspel enemies, with a guaranteed drop from Flame-Keepers. If you don’t have the Power of Rebirth active, there’s a convenient group of Muspel enemies nearby who you can drain it from. Then, speak to the woman and use the Power to ‘resurrect’ the dead body. You need to do this three times, and there’s plenty of Hugr flowers and a statue nearby to replenish it if you need. After the hilarious scenes, talk to the woman to get the key and complete this Mystery. This also gives you access to Wealth #14.
Mystery #6: Dwarven Altar (Gullhlid Altar)
You need 5 Hare’s Foot for this. There are many hares scattered around the hill this Altar is on, so just keep killing and looting them until you have enough.
Mystery #7: Dwarf in Distress
Kill the wolves and speak to the dwarf.
