Assassin’s Creed Valhalla All Standing Stones Locations

November 7, 2020 by PowerPyx 1 Comment

Standing Stones are a type of Collectible in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This guide shows where to find all Standing Stone Locations in AC Valhalla (13 total). They are needed for the Completionist All the Way trophy or achievement (100% Completion).

Standing Stones count as Mysteries. On the world map they are marked by this icon: . You can still access all regions after the story to find them.

Standing Stones require you to look at a glowing pattern on the stones from a certain angle. You must stand at a very specific point in the world to get the right angle. This guide also includes the solution to each one.

For a region by region guide of all Mysteries refer to this guide: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mysteries Guide

Standing Stones #5

Read the markings on the center stone which show the pattern you’re looking for. Use Odin’s Sight to reveal markings on the standing stones, then simply line them up until they match the pattern. Note that you may have to crouch to get the pattern to line up properly.

Glowecestrescire

Standing Stones #7

The first mystery in this region is a set of Standing Stones and they can be found in the East of the region. The rock you can interact with is in the centre of the area. Once you know what symbol to create, head to the south of the Standing Stones and look back towards the centre of the area. Here you will find the pattern, once you stand in the correct spot, aim the camera so that it auto-completes the symbol.

Standing Stones #8

These Standing Stones can be found in the South-East tip of the region. Interact with the rock in the centre to see what shape you need to create and then head towards the river. Here you will see an empty boat. Climb up onto it and take control of the oar. This shape can be really fiddly to get positioned right, but what you want to do is slowly row the boat until you are positioned about 5 or so meters away from the shore and in front of the stone on the river’s edge. If you stop controlling the boat in the right spot you will be able to go to where you need to stand and the boat won’t move.

Snotinghamscire

Standing Stones #9

These Standing Stones can be found embedded within a cliff which wraps around them. The shape you need to put together can be found on the stone in the centre of the collection of Standing Stones. If you look at the bottom of the cliff, you will find two ice walls which you can break by attacking. Attack the one on the left and head inside the cave. Turn your camera around and place yourself about halfway through the cave. Walk around a little until the game zooms into a close camera, at which point you can move the camera to position it correctly and form the shape.

Standing Stones #10

These Standing Stones can be found in the centre of the region, at the Aescforda Stones. The rock with the symbol on it can be found at the back of the area. The actual shape can be made by hopping to the floating ice on your left, from where the inscription on the rock is. But first, you will need to destroy some ice which is blocking the view. Destroy the ice by walking and jumping to the platform next to it and then swinging your weapon at it. From there, head back and stand in the same spot to form the shape.

Wincestre

None

Hamtunscire

Standing Stones #11

The first Standing Stones in this region can be found in the center of Hamtunscire at Stonehenge. The stone with the symbol you need to create can be found at the center of the area. To complete this mystery, look to the North-West and find the stones which look like they would form a circle. Stand in the position shown below to complete this Mystery.

Standing Stones #12

These Standing Stones can be found in the Western part of the region, North-East of Runcwuda Abbey at the Aveberre Megaliths. The stone you need to read with the symbol can be found in the center of the area, just next to the outer ring of gravel circling the area.

From the center set of pillars, you will see a line of pillars going from the center to the outer edge of the circle of stones. Stand on the second tall pillar out from the middle to get into the location and create the shape.

Vinland

Standing Stones #13

Here’s the solution. Make sure to move the platforms from the middle first.

Asgard

None

Jotunheim

None

That’s all 13 of the Standing Stone Locations in AC Valhalla and their solutions.

I like the game itself very much, but I have Never played a game from Ubisoft with so many BUGS and glitches. This has made the game with it all going for it very annoying, and makes you just want to snap it, but not for that price. Complain to Ubisoft they say get hold of PlayStation, who are as much help as kitchen towel in the rain, so with neither wanting to take steps to help, you could say I’m stuffed.
