The Wheel Turns is an optional quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Wheel Turns mission.

• Requirement: Automatically available after completing the quest An Education
• Recommended Level: 38
• Reward: 1000 EXP
• Quest Description: Lady Oichi’s servant has written to Yasuke, appealing to his good nature for help.

Read Oichi’s Letter

You can track this quest from the Objectives Board. Scroll to the People of Omi group and select the quest underneath Lady Oichi.

Find Lady Oichi’s letter at your Hideout.

Meet up with Lady Oichi

Lady Oichi waits for you in Azuchi in the Merchants’ Quarters.

She gives you a dialogue option:

• [It is time to say goodbye.]
• [I miss your smile.] – Romance
• [I will check on you later.]

Full disclaimer: Lady Oichi does not join your ranks, no matter which way you navigate this quest. With that said, continuing this quest gives you the opportunity to claim a dog on the island, but more on that later.

If you choose “It is time to say goodbye,” then you complete the quest. Choose this option if you want to finish this quest immediately.

If you choose “I miss your smile,” then the quest continues.

Meet with Lady Oichi

Lady Oichi waits for you at Okishima, the large island in the middle of Lake Biwa. Interact with her.

Walk with Lady Oichi

You can auto-follow her if you wish.

Meet up with Lady Oichi

When she sits down, speak to her.

She presents a dialogue choice:

• [This changes things.]
• [I am drawn to you.] – Romance

These options don’t change the flow of the quest.

Speak to Lady Oichi’s daughters

Find Lady Oichi’s three daughters across the island and speak to them.

Return to Lady Oichi

A dialogue option appears here:

• [I will keep Fuji-maru.] – Ally*
• [You may have him.] – Romance

Fuji-maru is a dog you can befriend. Unfortunately, Fuji-maru only stays on this island. He never comes to your Hideout, and he cannot help you in combat like your other allies.

Conversely, the romance with Lady Oichi is a one-night stand. You can still initiate the one-night stand in the next dialogue option, even if you choose to keep to Fuji-maru.]

With that said, this is your only chance to “keep” him.

Otherwise, you choose the romance option “You may have him.”

Another dialogue option appears:

• [Now we must part.]
• [Let’s enjoy the moment.] – Romance

This finishes The Wheel Turns in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
