The Kabukimono is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Kabukimono side mission.
- Region: Izumi Settsu
- Quest Giver: Shin’nyo
- Requirement: Unlocks during Act 1 from story progression
- Reward: 5,500 XP, New Skills Unlocked.
- Quest Description: Kabukimono are colorful ronin who do what they will and take what they want, ignoring the laws of the land.

- Return to Shin’nyo
Starting Location: The Kabukimono
Assassinate the Kabukimono leaders
To track this quest, open up the Objective Board and a new circle called The Kabukimono will show up (or, if you’ve already killed some of the ronin randomly by exploring the world, the circle that was previously labeled ‘Unknown’ will now change).
Initially, only four of the targets are available, but in Guided Mode, they will show up on the map anyway. You can track available ones from their icon on the Objective Board and then go and kill them. To find their locations, go to the map, press 
and then go to Tracked Icon to see exactly where they are.
Contact the Kabukimono
After killing the fourth target, you will receive a letter and instructions to visit Nishinomiya Shirine:
Once at the quest marker, interact with the sign. You will be offered a choice; to hunt the three remaining targets individually in Harima province, or gather them all together. It’s easier to pick the latter option.
Assassinate the Kabukimono leaders
The remaining three leaders will gather in Harima, near Takagi Otsuka Fort:
Harima is a Level 23 region, so if you are below this then you may struggle with combat as one hit will likely kill you. Either wait until you are sufficient level or enable Guaranteed Assassination in the options so you can stealth kill them instantly, although as the three are grouped together you may need to kill one, leave, then come back for the next.
Return to Shin’nyo
Return to where you started this quest and speak to Shin’nyo again to complete it.
This finishes The Kabukimono side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
