Assassin’s Creed Shadows Keys Locations

Keys are the online currency for the Animus Hub in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. They are collectibles that look like small white cubes floating in the air. Collecting them grants some of the “keys” currency, which can be exchanged for equipment in the Animus Hub online store. You have to be online connected to the internet to use the Animus store. This is not to be confused with “Helix Credits” which is another premium currency purchased with real money through microtransactions.

Unlike other collectibles they aren’t marked by question marks. They only get marked by the white  icon when you get very close to them within a few meters. They only appear on the map when fully zooming in (if you went near them before).

You can also get “Keys” currency from completing Anomalies, they become available during Act 2 of the story and will appear at the top of the objectives screen. However, these take a few days real time to refresh, so if you quickly want to buy something from the animus hub you can collect the keys collectibles while waiting for new anomalies to become available.

All of them are still obtainable after the story in free-roam, nothing is missable.
