Homecoming is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Homecoming mission.
- Region: Iga
- Questboard Category: The League > Ibuki > The Homecoming
- Requirement: Complete quest Ambush Interrupted
- Recommended Level: Scales with your level
- Reward: 1000 EXP
- Quest Description: With Yasuke’s help, Ibuki confronts the shadows of their past.
Meet Ibuki
Track the quest on the Objectives Board under Ibuki in the League group after doing his previous quest.
Location: Iga > Hijiyama > Hijiyama Fort
Note: You must complete this quest as Yasuke.
Speak to Ibuki, who presents a dialogue option:
- [Maybe you’re overthinking it.]
- [I am here to help.] – Romance
Choose whichever option you prefer. With that said, choosing “I am here to help” contributes to a relationship with Ibuki.
Help Kyobei
Find Kyobei in Hijiyama Fort.
Follow the path upward into the fort, breaking down doors as you go.
When you reach Kyobei, a cutscene starts, presenting you with a dialogue choice:
- [Fight with us, Kyobei.] – Attack
- [Kyobei is too weak.]
The outcome remains the same, even though the game says it affects how Ibuki sees you.
Kill Nakatomi
Defeat Nakatomi and her cronies.
Return to Ibuki
Ibuki joined you in the last fight. Speak to him now.
Meet Ibuki
Catch up with Ibuki east of the Kashiwara Village.
You get a couple dialogue options in this conversation:
- [The restriction makes ikebana beautiful.]
- [The flower itself is most important.]
Next:
- [This conversation is over my head.]
- [Your mind works in beautiful ways.] – Romance
Then:
- [You don’t have to be alone.] – Recruit ally
- [You are strong, Ibuki.]
The one option that affects anything is “You don’t have to be alone.” If you choose that option, you then can recruit Ibuki later in this quest chain.
Finally:
- [Let’s be together in another way.] – Romance.
- [I wish you all the best.]
This finishes Homecoming in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
