Help Needed is an optional quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Help Needed mission.

- Quest Giver: Available automatically after completing the quest The Rising Tide
- Requirement: Available immediately after completing the quest The Rising Tide
- Recommended Level: 12
- Reward: 2000 EXP, 2 Mastery Points
- Quest Description: Paranoid and unpredictable, Taro grew up in the shadow of his father’s harsh discipline and believes he will step into his rightful destiny as head of his clan.
Talk to the merchant
To track this quest, use the Objectives Board. Scroll to the Twisted Tree group and select the quest underneath Takahashi Taro.
You can find this merchant to the west of Nijo Palace.
He presents you with a dialogue choice:
- [Saburo is boasting.]
- [He could be dangerous.]
The choice doesn’t matter. Pick whichever you wish.
Listen in on the guards
These guards stand at the northern entrance of the Imperial Palace.
Hide behind the fence and hold 
/ 
while aiming at them to listen to their conversation.
This finishes Help Needed in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
