Assassin's Creed Shadows Fight of the Kakushiba Ikki Walkthrough

Fight of the Kakushiba Ikki is the 4th main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Fight of the Kakushiba Ikki main mission.

Follow Nagato

The quest opens with Naoe on horseback. Follow Nagato northeast down the path and across a wooden bridge.

Follow this linear path until you cross another wooden bridge and reach Aekuni Shrine Town, which is burning. Partway through the town, Naoe’s horse gets shot.

Kill the soldier

The first enemy you face while as Naoe is an Ashigaru Swordsman. He uses strong attacks, which are indicated by red circles around his hands. These attacks cannot be blocked. Instead, use / to dodge and / to parry.

Help Sandayu

Follow the road east into an open area. There, you find several elite soldiers fighting against your allies. Help take down the soldiers using what you have learned.

After you take down a few of these elite soldiers, a cutscene begins. Her father, Nagato, directs Naoe to reach the kofun and find a box.

Retrieve a box

Head south out of the shrine town to see several enemies crouching on the path ahead. Crouch using / , then sneak up to them and press / to assassinate them. Use the evergreen bushes for cover.

For the second enemy, press down on the D-Pad to whistle, drawing the enemy to you. When in range, assassinate him.

Cross a plank bridge to encounter another enemy. This time, hold / to lay down and crawl through the grass on your right. Continue right up a muddy slope, then go left at the top of the slope using the fallen log.

Once you look down at the soldier, press / to perform an air assassination.

Continue south along the path. When you reach a large gap in the path, hold Cross to jump onto the platform and then to the other side of the gap.

This leads you to a valley with a flowing river. Head down into the valley and follow the path up on the other side of the valley. This leads you to the Mihata Kofun.
