Assassin’s Creed Shadows Fallen Soldiers Walkthrough (Genzaburo’s Soldiers)

Fallen Soldiers is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Fallen Soldiers mission. The quest requires you to locate and defeat all 5 members of the “Genzaburo’s Soldiers” group.

• Quest Giver: Unlocks automatically during Act 2
• Requirement: Unlocks automatically during Act 2
• Recommended Level: 41
• Reward: 1000 EXP, 2 skills for Naoe “Sweep the Leg” & “Defensive Breach”
• Quest Description: Naoe follows the trail of blood left by Koshiro’s former comrades in arms.

Talk to Koshiro

This quest starts automatically during Act 2. It can be tracked from the objectives board.

This quest must be completed by Naoe.

Speak to Koshiro at the Kyokaiji Temple. You must then defeat all 5 Genzaburo Soldiers.

Assassinate Genzaburo’s soldiers

Genzaburo’s scout (1/5)

Find the scout in Tamba > Silver Lands.

Assassinate him, and you pick up the Letter from Genzaburo.

Genzaburo’s  swordsman (2/5)

Find the swordsman in Harima > Mount Kasagata, killing people trying to cross the bridge.

He gives you Genzaburo’s Threatening Letter.

Genzaburo’s teppo expert (3/5)

Climb up the watchtower here in Harima > Mount Kasagata.

Then, listen in on two shrine maidens.

Now, head west up to the Kaya Shrine.

He is guarded by 4 enemies, but you can still sneak up behind him.

Genzaburo’s poisoner (4/5)

Find the Poisoner sitting in the middle of a pond in Izumi Settsu > Osaka.

Killing him yields you the “Unsent Letter Regarding Koshiro.”

Confront Genzaburo (5/5)

Head back to Koshiro at the Kyokaiji Temple. He tells you to go after Genzaburo now.

Genzaburo does some training at the Zuiganji Temple in Harima > Himeji.

You cannot kill him here. You must talk to him first.

Assassinate Genzaburo here.

Koshiro presents you with a dialogue option:

• [I can protect myself.]
• [You could have died.]

Choose whichever option you like. These options do not change the outcome of the quest.

This finishes Fallen Soldiers in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
