Brothers In Arms is the 48th main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Brothers In Arms main mission.

- Quest Giver: Available automatically after completing the quest Astray
- Requirement: Available immediately after completing the quest Astray
- Recommended Level: 26
- Reward: 1000 EXP
- Quest Description: A fugitive ronin agitating conscripts against the Ox has been spotted in Kanki Burned Fields. He could prove a priceless ally.
Retrieve the Ox’s invasion plans
You can track this quest using the Objectives Board. Scroll to the Shinbakufu and select the quest underneath The Ox (Bessho Harumasa).
From Miko Docks, head immediately northwest across the water to find the ronin fighting for his life.
Assist him, then talk to him.
Join Koshiro’s search for Seiji
Now, head southwest to the Kanki Burned Fields.
You’ll likely come across Karasumachi Camp, but feel free to go around it. It doesn’t offer anything you need to progress the quest.
Approach the north end of the Kanki Castle. Keep going west until you find the Jorakuji Temple.
Here, it’s more advantageous to play as Naoe, since you can sneak in via her grappling hook. Otherwise, Yasuke has to come through the front door.
Approach the outside wall and use 
/ 
to grapple up to the roof.
Jump down and approach the center of the square.
Kill Commander Seiji
You then need to fight Commander Seiji.
As Naoe, if you approach the commander from behind, you can assassinate him. This makes this fight very easy.
You now get a dialogue option:
- [Kill the commander.]
- [Spare the commander.]
Unlike most dialogue choices, these are self-explanatory. If you kill the commander, he dies. If you spare him, the commander walks away.
This finishes Brothers In Arms in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
