Assassin’s Creed Shadows All Kata Locations

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has 18 Kata locations. Katas are exclusive to Yasuke (the male character). Naoe (female character) can’t find them. Yasuke is unlocked as a playable character after finishing Act 1 in the story.

On the map they are indicated by white question marks which turn into orange  Kata icons when going near them. They are little QTE button-press minigames, similar to Naoe’s Kuji-kiri. You must press all buttons correctly for Yasuke to perform a Kata. They reward you with knowledge points and XP. If you go there as Naoe you can switch characters in the inventory by holding (PS5) / (Xbox).

All of them are still obtainable after the story in free-roam, nothing is missable.

Tip: You can autocomplete the button presses. From the world map open the System menu > Options > Gameplay > Quick Time Events = Auto. It will then autocomplete all button presses (also works for Naoe’s Kuji-kiri). This is fine to use and doesn’t void anything.
