- Speak to Zervos
Once you have progressed the Story to the mission The Scarab’s Sting, you will meet the brewer Harkhuf, who is part of the local resistance. He has an Informant Table in a back room where you can pick up four quests, including this one.
Zervos the harbormaster is in hiding because he smuggled goods and now it is Bayek’s task to find out where he is located. For this, we have to go to market, which will be marked as an investigation zone, once we enter it. The merchants are only available at daytime, though. Use the Dawn & Dust-skill, if you have it, to change the time of day.
The merchants we are looking for are not the regular ones like the Blacksmith, but special ones just for this mission. You’ll find the four of them together in the western part of the market, marked with a hieroglyph above their heads. They all are very secretive about the “Zervos-situation” and Bayek decides to go after three of them to see how they’re involved in this.
We have to use Dawn & Dust again because the merchants will stay in the market during daytime and only go home when it gets dark. Unlike older AC-titles, there is no suspicion-bar when we follow targets but we can walk right amongst them. Weird, but ok.
We arrive at their destination and see that they have led us directly to Zervos, the missing harbormaster. He explains his bounty on him and tells us that there still is a way to help him, as his notes are still on his boat and haven’t been found yet. If these notes would fall into the wrong hands, he would be punished for tax fraud.
Sure thing that we’re helping him out. His boat is at a guard outposts pier not too far away. Soldiers will also be stationed on some boats close by, so it is advised to take those out with a predator bow beforehand, to ease the escape. Our delivery-point for the boat isn’t too far away either. Once delivered, Zervos wants to speak to us again and this final cutscene will end this side quest.
