The Labyrinth of Lost Souls is a Mysterious Site in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. It’s an underground tomb in Messara. It gets marked by a triangle-shaped icon once you have discovered its location, as is depicted below:
You may have found the Labyrinth during your exploration but could not enter because its sealed by a huge stone plate with minotaur statues looking over it. The reason you can’t enter is that this area is tied to a series of side quests. All of these are in Messara region.
Labyrinth of Lost Souls Questline
You must play 3 quests on Kythera Island and at the end you will go inside the Labyrinth of Lost Souls underground section:
- Myths and Minotaurs (Messara Island)
- Of Minotaurs and Men (Messara Island)
- He Waits (Messara Island).
Questline Starting Location:
Just play these 3 quests and you will be able to access Labyrinth of Lost Souls that was previously locked.
What’s in the Labyrinth of Lost Souls?
One of the 4 World Bosses, the Minotaur, is found in Labyrinth of Lost Souls. This is endgame stuff for which you’ll need a high level.
As the name suggests, there is a labyrinth in there that you must navigate. Follow the golden thread to its end, until you find a corpse and pick up its ring. Then turn around, backtrack just a few steps until you take a left turn and then jump straight over the platforms ahead of you (don’t follow the golden thread all the way back). After you jump over the two platforms there are a few more climbing and jumping sections until you end up at the Minotaur boss.
I’ve done all side quests and it still locked i went to fight him at level 36 but realised he was to strong so got my self to level 41 now it’s locked why

If you find it locked it’s because you will already have one of the artifact.Go to the lost city and place the artifact in its place.return to the laberinth and it will be open .
Simply fast travel to the golden Labyrinth of Lost Souls. That should correct the issue.
Okay but what if it doesn’t
I beat the Minotaur on level 43! Max dodge two to three strikes then out! Use the super combo if it builds up, but always keep one Adrenalin bar for healing! Nailed it on the third try!
Took me mine try to beat the Minotaur lots of arrows and dodging, literally to easy

First try to beat him… Three tries to get through the labyrinth though
I’m at level 56 and can’t get out of the pool of water. I keep hitting the B botton and I just keep diving! Am I missing something or is to be a flaw?
So pissed! Im level 42, completed all side quests and it wont open. Tried fast traveling,…stil wont let me innto the labyrinth! Looked in my inventory and no amulet/key,..What now?
Same here. Completed all side quests. Went in,saw my level wasn’t high enough. Teleported out. Now I’m the right level but the stone door is locked again.. how can I re-enter?
Yoo the minotaur was a sucka took like 100 arrows and alot of dodging but in all won then went to fight kretan bull fucker was harder than the world boss minotaur lol
Tried all the above but still can’t get the labyrinth open it’s my last artifact I left the place to get stronger now can’t get back in
You need to open your map and fast travel to it or use your bird . It takes you in
followed to corpse, turned, jumped, climbed, had to jump again but now im on a ledge and dont know where to go
