Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has 42 Underwater Locations for the Child of Poseidon Trophy and Achievement. You must complete all of the underwater locations by finding the sunken treasures in them. Use your eagle to mark the underwater treasures. Be sure to clear out the location so it shows a checkmark on the map or else it won’t count.
Below is a map with all underwater locations on it as well as zoomed-in images for greater detail. It doesn’t matter in what order you do them, they are accessible as soon as you unlock the ship in Sequence 2 of the story. You can click on the images to view the full resolution version.

if you want to make it a bit easier you can acquire a legendary spear called: “Poseidon’s Trident” which has the legendary perk “Breathe Underwater”, the said spear can be found on an unnamed island between Samoa and Chios and to the right of Andros but beware as its being guarded by some high level lions

Submerged Minoan Palace chest. Complete some certain side quest given by Xenia the pirate north on Keos island and she’ll give you the key.

I archived all 42 locations above, but can’t get trophy. Do I have to clear some quests in underwater locations?

I have the complete map unveiled, but it doesn’t show me all underwater locations.. Will follow the guide, I guess..
where is the key to the sunken temple of aphrodite
Damn. Underwater Ruins of Dyspontion shows that I have collected both treasures at the location, but there’s no checkmark by it. **ck. I guess I’ll go back there tomorrow and see if it will let my try and get them again.
If this was a bug, it’s either unbugged itself, or there was something Ubisoft fixed since I did that location, because when I went back to the location, the achievement popped as soon as I put foot into the water.
I have checked all these locations and I have them all, they’re all checked off.. but the trophy hasn’t dropped.. ?

I got the same issue….I remember there r couple of underwater treasures which need keys, i think they r part of side missions. Should I complete them too?
When I first went to the Submerged Minoan Palace the first time, I was able to get one chest and the other was locked. I left it at 1/2. Now, after I ran around and cleared out the entire map (the Hermes’ Homie trophy worked just fine), it says I have 1/1, and is checked as done. If that’s actually done, then I’ve got all 42 locations complete and no trophy.
I have the same Problem. And now the trophy is not more available for me. I checked all 42 underwater locations several times but the trophy is not popping up.

I got all locations checked and no trophy. Any news of when will this be patched? I’m not willing to spent hours completing this locations again.
At location # 29 has two chests, but Ikaros reveals only one, the mission chest, and I can’t find the other. Does anyone have any idea where the other is? Thx

Cave of Wealth is just a cave? I’m not sure why it’s on this list you don’t need it to get the achievement.
Looks closer. Cave of Wealth is not the cave in the middle of the image but an actual underwater location highlighted on the right side of the picture.

TYVM for sharing this information. Took me about 5 hrs total.
I need help finding a sunken ship that isn’t marked on either this map or the in-game map. All i know is its either just right of 6 or between 3 and 5 and it takes your entire normal breath meter just to get to it. I first found in the middle of a ship fight early on in the game but because i didn’t have Poseidon trident i couldn’t reach it. Now that i have the trident (or more accurately a spear with the breathing engraving) i cant find it anymore. And like i said it never had a sunken ship icon which at the time i found strange.
I can’t believe it, I was missing the Polydektes Lagoon. I checked and rechecked the picture and I thought I was going crazy!!! It turns out I’m just blind, I hadn’t even seen the question mark on my map!!! Thanks for this guide, really helpful!!
Finally! Number 31 was the one for me! Hadn’t discovered it! Thank you for this map. I am now on my first ever platinum trophy.
There was loot south of Messenia. Where the map is covered by a mermaid. i discovered it by accident but needed the perk to breathe underwater to reach it was about 200m underwater. since then i have not been able to find nor have found anyone with info. please help me find it.
I had to follow the guide. I found all 42 locations. Location 21 where you need the key I did this last. I did the mission ‘we’re treasure hunters’ which is on the same island. Got the key and when unlocked and opened the chest, the trophy did not pop. I seen that the bottom left of screen where it takes you the location number of items, and it still said 0/1. So there was another chest here. Eagle sight found the chest, I opened it and location was complete and trophy popped.
I don’t believe that the quest chest had anything to do with the trophy. It’s not a location chest that’s part of the ship wreck locations. In ‘ruins of arne’ ship wreck in lake kopais-boeotia region, there’s a chest there needing a key to open thats part of the ‘language of the ancients’ quest. I did not do this quest to get the key and was not needed for trophy.
