Introduction
Welcome to the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Trophy Guide! AC Mirage goes back to the roots with gameplay similar to Assassin’s Creed 1. The amount of content and map size is also comparable to AC1 and significantly smaller than the latest main title AC games. It’s a pretty quick and easy platinum. The story lasts around 10+ hours, there are side quests called “Contracts”, and 170 Collectibles total. All collectibles are needed to “fully explore all territories”, except Enigma Solutions of which only one is required for trophy purposes (finding the Enigma Scrolls is enough to complete all territories). There is only one missable trophy for pickpocketing a guard affected by a blowdart, the problem being that it only works on a few specific guards carrying keys or mysterious shards.
Step 1: Play through Story & Sync all Viewpoints [12-15 Hours]
Because some Collectibles are gated behind story progress it’s best to focus on the story first. After finishing the story you will have access to all Collectibles. What difficulty you pick doesn’t matter, everything is obtainable on ‘Easy’ difficulty. During the story watch out for the following:
- [MISSABLE] You Snooze, You Lose – this requires you to use a Blowdart on an enemy soldier carrying a key and pickpocket him. It only works on enemies who have an orange key icon over their head . Alternatively, it works on enemies carrying Mysterious Shards (only 10 total in the game). There are very limited opportunities for this, making it highly missable (civilians with keys don’t count). You gain access to the Blowdart automatically from the story, after Main Quest: Branching Out (shortly after assassinating the 1st Order Member called “Al-Ghul”). Then go loot one of the enemies holding a Mysterious Shard Collectible. You can find an enemy with a key on the roof of “The Bazaar” in Karkh district:
- [TIME SAVER] Enable Guaranteed Pickpocket in game options – Press Touchpad > Touchpad again to open Menu > Options > Gameplay > Guaranteed Pickpocket = ON. This successfully completes every pickpocketing attempt without needing to input the QTE sequence. You can sell pickpocketed items to Traders for money.
- [TIME SAVER] Spend Merchant Favor Tokens at traders to reduce all prices by -30% & Buy 100 Components (Cogs) whenever available – You need a total of 1460 Components (Cogs) to fully upgrade all Tools. They are the rarest resource in the game. The fastest way is to buy them. By default they cost 5 Dirhams per piece but you can reduce the price to 3 Dirhams per piece by spending “Merchant Favor Tokens” to get a discount. These Tokens come from pickpocketing people, and once spent the discount is applied permanently across all traders in the game. When you have enough money, spend it on buying 100 Components for 300 Dirhams. It takes a while for merchant inventories to replenish so check back from time to time. This reduces the grind for all Tool Upgrades later on. Don’t waste money on Steel Ingots & Leather, you get more of those than you need.
- [TIME SAVER] Sync All Viewpoints – Viewpoints unfog the map to reveal collectibles and can be used as fast travel points. Unlocking all of these early will save time during quests, allowing you to fast travel everywhere instead of walking. You should start working on these after finishing the Prologue, as soon as you unlock the Camel mount so you can ride everywhere quickly. It takes around 2-3 hours to sync all Viewpoints and unfog the whole map. See Viewpoint Locations.
Step 2: Collectibles [5 Hours]
After the story you will have access to all Collectibles.
See Assassin’s Creed Mirage Collectible Guide.
Step 3: Play Contracts to Unlock All Skills & Fully Upgrade All Tools [2 Hours]
After doing all Main Quests and Collectibles, you will still need 13 skill points. To get these, you will need to finish most of the Contracts (Side Quests). They are started on the quest board in Hidden Ones’ Bureau. These also reward you with more materials for upgrading all Tools. While you do this, remember to keep buying stacks of 100 Components (Cogs) from traders whenever available. To fully upgrade all tools you need: 1460 Components + 675 Steel Ingots + 675 Leather.
Steel Ingots and Leather shouldn’t be a problem if you didn’t overspend them on Weapon/Outfit upgrades. If you run short on these you can buy them from traders too.
Step 4: Miscellaneous Trophies [2 Hours]
All you might have left are some Miscellaneous Trophies. Most of them should have unlocked naturally by now but anything you have left can quickly be farmed in the open world.

Weapons can be upgraded at Blacksmiths, marked on the map by white swords: . They are revealed when syncing Viewpoints.
First, you will need need to find both Upgrade Schematics for a weapon (each weapon has 2 Upgrade Schematics). They are obtained from Gear Chest collectibles – see Gear Chest Locations. Then you must visit a Blacksmith and pay for the upgrade with two materials: Steel Ingots & Leather. The fastest way to get these materials is to buy them from Traders (they sell them in stacks of 100 each). To get enough money simply pickpocket people (turn on “Guaranteed Pickpocket” in Gameplay Settings) and sell any loot to merchants. You can also get materials from Loot Chests, from Contracts (started in Hidden Ones’ Bureau), and by delivering Artifacts to Dervis. You can make a Manual Save before spending the materials, then reload to fully upgrade an Outfit too. Here’s a Blacksmith Location in Harbiyah district: |
||

Fashion Statement Apply dye to an outfit |
||
Dyes can be bought from Traders, marked by a white pouch icon on the map: . They are revealed when syncing Viewpoints.
Alternatively, you can also get them as rewards for finding Enigma Treasures. Once you have a Dye that is compatible with your outfit, go to Inventory > Outfit Dye > select a Dye. If your Outfit doesn’t have a Dye available, equip other Outfits and check in the Dye Menu again. Each Dye can only be used with one specific Outfit. You unlock more Outfits from Gear Chests. |
||
Masquerader Obtain both disguises |
||
Both disguises are automatic main story unlocks, they can’t be missed. Don’t even worry about this, just play through the story and you’ll get the trophy towards the end while doing the investigations on the final Order Member.
|
||
Treasure Seeker Open a token chest |
||
Token Chests are the Loot Chests that require 1 Merchant Favor Token to open. These are rarer than normal Loot Chests. You can get Merchant Favor Tokens by pickpocketing people. Here’s a Token Chest Location, in Abbasiyah district > Scriptorium > on rooftop: |
||
Potion Collector Obtain a total of 10 elixirs |
||
Elixirs are the health potions that restore your health when pressing . You can buy them from Traders or find them in Tool Chests.
Only 3 Elixirs can be carried at the same time. In order to get more, you will need to use Elixirs to free up space for new ones. You will unlock this trophy naturally at some point during the story. But if you want to speed it up, just drop down from a high building to suffer damage or get hit by an enemy, then heal and get more Elixirs from merchants / chests. |
||
Fearless Synchronize all viewpoints |
||
» Assassin’s Creed Mirage All Viewpoint Locations
Bird of Prey Tag 100 guards using Enkidu |
||
Enkidu is your eagle, used by pressing . You automatically unlock him early in the story.
To tag guards, press to summon Enkidu > to zoom in > look at enemies for a second to mark them. Do this to 100 enemies total. Any restricted areas with lots of enemies work well for it, for example Damascus Gate Prison in the west of Harbiyah district, or the Palace of the Green Dome in the middle of Round City. There are enemies everywhere so just fly around and keep tagging them. You will encounter plenty of enemies during the story too. |
||
Explorer Fully explore all territories |
||
This requires you to obtain all Collectibles shown on the map tracker for each district to get 100% completion. All of the following collectible types are required: Gear Chests, Lost Books, Enigmas, Historical Sites, Mysterious Shards, Tales of Baghdad.
There are 5 districts total: Harbiyah, Abbasiyah, Karkh, Round City, Wilderness. |
||
Defender of the People Complete 10 faction contracts |
||
Faction Contracts are unlocked after Main Quest: Zeroing In (relatively early in the story after the first few quests). They can then be started from the job board in Hidden Ones’ Bureau. Contracts are basically the “Side Quests” in this game.
Each Contract you complete unlocks a new one. They are short one-step quests where you must assassinate someone, or steal something, or tail someone. You will need to complete almost all of them anyway to get enough Skill Points to buy all Skills. |
||

Tools of the Trade Fully upgrade all tools |
||
Tools can be upgraded by talking to Banu Musa at the Hidden Ones’ Bureau. You gain access to all Tools & Upgrades after Main Quest: Branching Out (shortly after assassinating the 1st Order Member on Investigation Board called “Al-Ghul”). Buy the 3 “Extra Tool Capacity” skills from the Trickster Skill Tree, then talk to Banu Musa at the Hidden Ones’ Bureau to unlock the remaining Tools and buy their upgrades.
The Tool Upgrades cost mainly Components (cog icon in inventory). This is the rarest resource in the game. The best approach is to buy Components from Traders. They sell them in stacks of 100 pieces but take a while to refresh after you sold out their inventory. Don’t waste money on Leather & Steel Ingots, you get more than enough of these (buy only Components). You can spend Merchant Favor Tokens to reduce the price from 5 Dirhams to 3 Dirhams per Component. Whenever merchants refresh their inventory, buy more Components. There isn’t much else to spend money on in this game anyway. You can quickly farm money by pickpocketing people and selling the loot to Traders (enable “Guaranteed Pickpocket” in Gameplay Settings and go to crowded areas like The Bazaar in Karkh district). You also get lots of Components from playing Contracts (these are also available after Main Quest: Zeroing In, from the job board inside the Hidden Ones’ Bureau). They often give 45 Components as a reward. Also open any Loot Chests you come across, they contain small amounts of all Crafting Materials. Delivering all 18 Artifacts to Dervis also gives 300 Components. In total to upgrade everything it costs: 1460 Components + 675 Steel Ingots + 675 Leather. Throwing Knife
Noisemaker
Trap
Smoke Bomb
Blowdart
TOTAL: 1460 Components + 675 Steel Ingots + 675 Leather |
||
Eagle’s Eye Kill 75 guards with throwing knives |
||
Throwing Knives are automatically unlocked in Main Quest: A New Beginning (very early in the story). They can be used by holding . You can make this easier by buying the Skill “Knife Recovery” (Trickster Skill Tree). This allows you to retrieve knives after hitting enemies.
Defeat any 75 enemies by throwing knives at them. Headshots deal more damage. You can also buy the “Sharp Blade” tool upgrade for 50% more damage, thus any body hit kills regular enemies. Tool Upgrades are bought from Hidden Ones’ Bureau, after Main Quest: Zeroing In. Knives can be refilled by buying them from Traders, and sometimes they are found in Tool Chests or found in the environment. |
||
Headhunter Headshot 20 guards with throwing knives |
||
Throwing Knives are automatically unlocked in Main Quest: A New Beginning (very early in the story). They can be used by holding . You can make this easier by buying the Skill “Knife Recovery” (Trickster Skill Tree). This allows you to retrieve knives after hitting enemies.
Defeat any 20 enemies by throwing knives at their heads. Knives can be refilled by buying them from Traders, and sometimes they are found in Tool Chests or found in the environment. |
||
Sleep Tight Put 10 guards to sleep with blowdarts |
||
Blowdarts are an unlockable tool. You get access to all Tools after Main Quest: Branching Out (shortly after assassinating the 1st Order Member on Investigation Board called “Al-Ghul”). Buy the “Extra Tool Capacity” skills from the Trickster Skill Tree, then talk to Banu Musa at the Hidden Ones’ Bureau to unlock more tool slots.
Shoot 10 guards total with the Blowdart (hold to select Blowdart > to aim > to shoot). It will put them to sleep. When you run out of ammo simply buy more from Traders, or loot Tool Chests. |
||
Ambush Have 10 guards trigger traps |
||
Traps are an unlockable tool.
Throw the Trap in front of enemies and have them walk into it (hold to select Trap > hold to aim > to throw). You can also do this while in open combat. It will put the enemies to sleep for a brief period. When you run out of ammo simply buy more from Traders, or loot Tool Chests. |
||
Up in Smoke Affect 20 guards with smoke bombs |
||
Smoke Bombs are an unlockable tool. You get access to all Tools after Main Quest: Branching Out (after assassinating the 1st Order Member on Investigation Board called “Al-Ghul” and reporting back to the Hidden Ones’ Bureau). Buy the “Extra Tool Capacity” skills from the Trickster Skill Tree, then talk to Banu Musa at the Hidden Ones’ Bureau to unlock more tool slots.
To affect as many guards as possible per use, enter open combat and have enemies gather around you, then throw the Smoke Bomb (hold to bring up Tool Menu > click on Smoke Bomb for quick use). When you run out of ammo simply buy more from Traders, or loot Tool Chests. |
||
Attention Seeker Distract 10 guards with noisemakers |
||
Noisemakers are an unlockable tool.
While in stealth, throw Noisemakers near groups of enemies, this will make them investigate where the noise came from (hold to select Noisemaker > to aim > to throw). When you run out of ammo simply buy more from Traders, or loot Tool Chests. |
||
The Hands of a Thief Pickpocket 50 people |
||
Some people carry a pouch on their back. You can pickpocket them by pressing . To make this easier, press Touchpad > Touchpad again to open Menu > Options > Gameplay > Guaranteed Pickpocket = On.
Now it will automatically succeed every pickpocket attempt without needing to do the QTE every time. It still counts towards the trophy with Guaranteed Pickpocket enabled. A good area for this is “The Bazaar” in the south-west of Karkh district. There are many people close together and they often have pouches. |
||
You Snooze, You Lose Pickpocket a guard affected by a blowdart |
||
*MISSABLE – Only works on enemies with Keys or Mysterious Shards* This only works on enemies who are carrying keys or mysterious shards (civilians with keys don’t count)! There are limited opportunities for this. There are very few enemies with keys, and only 10 enemies with Mysterious Shards in the open world, making this trophy highly missable. First, you must unlock the Blowdart tool. You get access to all Tools automatically from story progress, after Main Quest: Branching Out (shortly after assassinating the 1st Order Member called “Al-Ghul”). Then you can buy the “Extra Tool Capacity” skills from the Trickster Skill Tree and talk to Banu Musa at the Hidden Ones’ Bureau to unlock more tool slots. During the rest of the story, pay attention whenever an enemy has an orange “Key” icon over their head: . Alternatively, seek out one of the collectible-related enemies in the open world holding a Mysterious Shard (only 10 of these total in the game). Shoot a blowdart at one such enemy, then while the enemy is sleeping loot the body. It doesn’t work on any other enemies, only the ones who have keys/shards. There is a very limited amount of enemies who work for this. If you kill them and loot the key without using a blowdart, they won’t respawn (thus cannot be pickpocketed anymore). The easiest option would be to seek out one of the 10 Mysterious Shards in the open world. If you’ve already collected them all you’ll have to do it on an enemy holding a key. There is a regular open world enemy that works for it. In Karkh district, on the roof of “The Bazaar” there’s a big armored enemy with a key. Shoot a blowdart at his legs where he is unarmored then press to pickpocket: There are more opportunities for it during the following quests:
|
||
Curio Collector Pickpocket all 18 artifacts and bring them to Dervis |
||
» Assassin’s Creed Mirage All Dervis’ Artifact Locations
Hoarder Save up 2007 dirhams |
||
For this you must have a total of 2007 Dirhams (money) at the same time. The fastest way is to pickpocket people and sell the loot to Traders.
Some people carry a pouch on their back which can be pickpocketed by pressing . To make this easier, press Touchpad > Touchpad again to open Menu > Options > Gameplay > Guaranteed Pickpocket = On. This will make every pickpocketing attempt successful without needing to do the QTE button input. Also buy the Skill “Pickpocket Master” from the Trickster skill tree. It will give you better items such as Rubies that sell for more money. A good location to farm this is “The Bazaar” in the south-west of Karkh district. There are lots of people close together: Alternatively, the northern viewpoint in Round City district also has many people close together. |
||
Dawn and Dusk Use benches to pass time 5 times |
||
Simply find a bench, they are marked white when scanning with . Sit down on it by pressing to “Blend In”. Then hold to “Pass Time”. You can keep sitting on the same bench and do this 5 times in a row to pop the trophy.

While doing this, simply whistle for enemies with to lure them to you, then press to assassinate them when the button prompt appears. Do this 10 times total. Can be done practically anywhere on the streets where guards are standing around, there are always some groups of people near them.
Surprise! Assassinate 10 guards from hiding spots |
||
Hide in Bales of Hay / Leaves / Benches near enemies and whistle with . The enemies will come to investigate. When they are in range press to assassinate. Enemies respawn when you fast travel away and come back so this can be farmed.
The Shadow and the Flame Defeat a Shakiriyya in combat |
||
“Shakiriyya” are the dual-sword wielding masked Ninjas that hunt you down at Wanted Level 3. Just attack guards and people until your Wanted Level is fully red (bottom right of screen). Then wait until one of them spawns. They are the hardest enemies in the game. Defeat one of them for the trophy.
An easy strategy is to toss Throwing Knives at their feet where they are unarmored or use Smoke Bombs then attack them from behind. |
||
Silencer Destroy a Horn Bearer’s horn with a throwing knife |
||
Horn Bearers are armored enemies that carry a horn on their back, which they use to call for reinforcements if you are detected. When you scan with the horn will be highlighted yellow, toss a Throwing Knife at it to destroy the horn. An easy location is in Harbiyah > Metal Factory. Approach the heavily armored guard from behind, toss the Throwing Knife at the horn on his back: |
||
Notorious Stay at maximum notoriety for 10 minutes |
||
Simply start attacking people until you reach Wanted Level 3, displayed by the red bar in the bottom right of the screen:
The last part of the bar doesn’t need to be fully red, you just need to reach the third red icon. Then stay alive for 10 minutes. At Wanted Level 3, Shakiriyya will spawn to hunt you down (dual-sword wielding Ninja enemies with face mask). Do not kill them, doing so would reset your Wanted Level. Also don’t tear down any Wanted Posters and don’t pay any Munadis to reset your Wanted Level. You have to survive 10 minutes in one go. |
||
Poster Boy At maximum notoriety, become anonymous by tearing down wanted posters |
||
Simply start attacking people until you reach Wanted Level 4, displayed by the red bar in the bottom right of the screen:
Also have the 4th bar fully red. Then run around and tear down 3 Wanted Posters, each will reduce your Wanted Level. Look at the compass at the top of the screen, it will show the distance to the nearest Wanted Poster with a white icon: . |
||
Spread the News Use the services of a Munadi 3 times |
||
Munadis are marked by white icons on the map: .
Interact with them 3 times, it costs 1 Power Favor Token each. You get the Tokens from pickpocketing people. 3 Munadi Locations: |
||
Unstoppable Kill 5 guards with one use of Assassin’s Focus |
||
“Assassin’s Focus” is unlocked in Main Case: First Order, after eliminating the first Investigation Board target “Al-Ghul – The Slayer” (when you unlock story trophy The Blood of a Ghoul). To be able to string 5 kills together, you must buy the two skills “Assassin’s Focus Capacity 1” & “Assassin’s Focus Capacity 2”. You also need 5 full Focus bars, displayed in the bottom left of the screen above your health. These recharge by doing stealth kills. Now go to “The Great Garrison” in the south-east corner of Karkh district. In front of the main entrance are 5 guards close together (4 standing still + 1 walking in front of them). While out of combat, press to use Assassin’s Focus, select the 5 targets with and confirm with . |
||
Eagle’s Will Survive 10 minutes in open conflict |
||
Attack an enemy to enter open combat. Leave only 1 enemy alive and dodge all incoming attacks with . Do this for 10 minutes until the trophy pops. Do not exit combat in between (don’t get out of sight from the enemy, stay close). Do not accidentally kill the last remaining enemy. It must be done for 10 minutes in one single combat encounter. |
||
Gifted Escapist Collapse 20 scaffolding structures |
||
Scaffolds can be collapsed by pressing near them. The easiest method is to farm this by fast traveling to a Viewpoint to make Scaffolds respawn, return to the same one to collapse it again, rinse and repeat. You have to travel far enough away for Scaffolds to respawn. A fast farming location is in Harbiyah District, north of Damascus Gate: Fast travel to the Viewpoint west of Damascus Gate Prison. Return to the Scaffold and it will have respawned. Collapse it again, fast travel to the same Viewpoint and repeat until the trophy unlocks. |
||
A True Hidden One Assassinate 10 guards in a row without triggering open conflict |
||
For this you must stay in stealth for 10 assassinations without being spotted. Any restricted area with lots of enemies works well for this. For example, “Damascus Gate Prison” in Harbiyah district. There are lots of guards on the walls and on the roof. Try to take them out one by one, and lure them by whistling with . You may also use Tools to make it easier, such as Throwing Knives and Blowdarts.
You can make it even easier by fast traveling away to make the same enemies respawn, kill just the easiest ones who are on their own and repeat. |
||
Street Cleaner Hide 5 bodies in bales of hay |
||
Simply find a bale of hay or cart with hay. Kill some enemies or civilians nearby, pick up their bodies with , then carry them to the bale of hay and press to hide the body. You can put multiple bodies in the same bale of hay and it counts. It also counts the bodies of civilians (don’t need to be enemies). Doesn’t matter if you do it in one bale of hay or across multiple. |
Michael Bailey says
Are you unable to replay story missions in this one?
PowerPyx says
Missions can’t be replayed.
Delken says
Great guide as always, PowerPyx team!
I have been looking forward to this for a while. I’m a fan of the much larger AC games, but it will be nice to play a game similar to the original in size and not a full collectathon for the platinum. It’s a shame there’s the highly missable trophy, but as long as no collectibles glitch out I’ll be happy.
How would you rate this in terms of fun/interest? Like story, gameplay, etc.
d3mystic says
Thanks for the guide, PowerPyx!
This might be a bit of an odd question but which trophy among the misc. trophies is definitely the one that won’t accidentally unlock by simply playing or 100%ing the game, so I have to actively go for it. I’m preparing for a milestone (SM2 and P5 Tactica) and I’m finishing games with only ~99% trophy completion before I finish those two and don’t want to mess up. Would ‘Dawn and Dusk’ be a good one to not unlock?
PowerPyx says
An easy one to avoid on purpose would be “Unstoppable”. Just don’t use Assassin’s Focus if you want to keep it for last.
Irwynn says
Jesus Christ, how do I refill throwing knives? I’ve been walking with 0 for a hour. Whas a stupid game.
PowerPyx says
Easiest way is to buy them from Traders.
Martin says
Knives are everywhere you just need to look harder …they are inside open chests and also they are stuck on crates always about 2-3. Helps also when you buy the skill to retrieve knives back from dead bodies.
Johann says
There is a lot of chests in the game with free knives, use the eagle eyes to view the chests glowing. Or simple buy knives on the merchants.
Blamo says
At all the assassin’s hideouts you can find a chest that will give you some I think.

Thank you for the trophy guide. This game’s Platinum trophy is about what I expected when it comes to difficulty and length, but it’s strange that there is a missable trophy in an open world action-adventure game like this (at least it’s only a single easy one).
From the reviews I’ve watched, it still doesn’t interest me because the classic AC formula is boring to me now, the game has cosmetic microtransactions, and I haven’t felt compelled to play an Ubisoft game since 2017.
Jack Wayne says
Thank you so much for this! What did you think of game itself?
NHC2000 says
Thanks for the guide. If definately looks more like a DLC and collectaton than a fully flesh AC game. But looks fun too.
ImAPirateSoSueMe says
Well it was supposed to be a Valhalla DLC, so

Unfortunately no auto pop and even some trophies are unobtainable after loading the cloud save from ps4 to ps5 like the 10 minute combat trophy. Eagle’s will.
I started another playthrough and it popped in the same location on ps5
Scott says
How do you do the cloud save transfer? I’m playing on PS5, and want to save right before trophy pop and upload save to cloud to pop them on PS4. The old games had option to upload to cloud, but I don’t see it on this one.
Nl_the_godfather says
It goes automatically, check ur save file with a cloud icon. If it doesn’t save right away, delete ur last manual or auto save cloud file and save again. Then it will have a new cloud save file as well
Nl_the_godfather says
Best way for dual platinum is keeping a save before each trophy, then going to ps4, completing the objective and going back to ps5 to get it there like in watch dogs.
The 20 scaffolding trophy (gifted escapist) can also be done through saving and reloading, that will respawn it
Al - Hamza says
Thank you Power. Looks fantastic. Will start today.
Jack says
After the assassinating Al Ghul I still can’t unlock Skill Extra Tool Capacity 1 it’s greyed out and says Progress further in the story any idea why? I want the missable trophy out of the way asap but i can’t
PowerPyx says
Return to the Hidden Ones Bureau to turn in the quest, then it unlocks.
Syyko710 says
Is that the only spot/time to get the Snooze you loose trophy? I tried doing it but once I KO’d the guard with the dart all it said was “kill” not pickpocket
PowerPyx says
There are a few more opportunities in other main quests and in a contract, but not many.
If the prompt doesn’t come up reload last autosave and repeat. Also make sure it’s the correct guard who holds the key (there are other big armored guards in the area who don’t have a key).
Gamer says
Thank you Power for continue making great guides. I exciting to play AC Mirage later tonight.
Vince says
Poster Boy trophy is completely bugged for me and I don’t know how or why, I’ve just farmed out every notoriety related trophy (kill a shakkariya, survive level 3 for 10 minutes, etc.) but now as I head around and tear down 3 posters and become anonymous the trophy doesn’t unlock, I’ve tried reloading back to really early saves before I’ve even gotten notoriety once and it still isn’t working at all, I don’t understand.
Vince says
Update on Poster Boy: I got it but you need to have MAXIMUM notoriety, the third icon on the bar does not cut it, the ENTIRE line has to be red.
Abyss says
No, I did it with only three, toy can’t be seen you have to be anonymous with all three killed before you pull down the poster, you can’t be in the middle of a chase and the Ninja dude can’t be coming after you.
Zafire says
The trophy poster boy is glitched for me. Despite doing everything right it will not unlock. Tried 3 times.
Zafire says
I have the trophy now. The problem was when I was taking down a poster it was in a quest area, it triggered the quest and glitched. Luckily I had another save, i loaded it up and got it on my 1st try. Different location of course.
Fallout says
is the snooze you lose trophy only for guards with keys? wouldn’t the guards with the mysterious shards also work
PowerPyx says
Would need someone to test this as I already have the trophy. They can be pickpocketed and are hostile so in theory this could work.
(Edit: apparently works, thanks everyone for confirming! It’s updated in the guide, makes it less missable)
Kalethiel says
I got the trophy pickpocketing one of those guards that carry those mysterious shards, after hitting him with the blowdart.
Abyss says
It works
Syyko710 says
For “Gifted Escape” I have a save point right in front of the structures…Can I just destroy it & reload my save or do I have to repawn at the Sync point for it to properly track?
Syyko710 says
Update: Yup it works. Was father than spawning in & running to the location
Yevhenii says
Blade in the crowd doesnt pop, despite doing everything (with merchants + will regilar crowd).
Tomas says
Can I get trophy – Stay at maximum notoriety for 10 minutes. For example can i stay at synchronization tower for example during maximum wanted level? Or I must be in conflict near guards directly?
BodyChipper says
Just checking, but it sounds like the two trophies with 10 minute time requirements need to be all at once, not cumulatively across multiple wanted/combat engagements, correct? So, you need to spend 10 minutes continuously in those two states to get the trophies?
PowerPyx says
They must be done in one single 10 minute encounter (it’s not cumulative).
Richard says
Can you fix the website? It keeps refreshing over and over again and it’s hard to follow the guide! Thank you 🙂
PowerPyx says
Please try updating to latest version of iOS firmware to fix it. It’s an Apple iOS firmware bug (specifically iOS Webkit), but should be fixed in latest firmware. I was able to replicate this on older firmwares but it no longer refreshes on current firmware. Hope that fixes it, let me know 🙂
Fallout says
I can confirm the You Snooze, You Lose trophy can be unlocked using the blow dart while collecting the mysterious shards from guards i unlocked it in the city of anbar so it’s not limited to guards with a set of keys
Ziad A says
There is also another guard you can pickpocket in mission: Dogan bin Arslan mission (Informant).
Whexah says
Can confirm that the You Snooze You Lose trophy can be unlocked via the mysterious shards.
Nikki_boagreis says
That’s for the post about the Poster Boy trophy, i had originally thought it was bugged or glitched until reading the above post and managed to get the trophy.
Abyss says
I don’t know if it was a glitch, but for the Silencer trophy I tossed a knife at the horn on a dead guy and got it.
So if you’re like me and suck at aiming, you can easily do this while they’re laying on the ground sucking up the Bagdad Dirt.
SNOY says
Hello Pyxy !
Thanks for this genius guide.
Report of potential glitched trophy:
Blade in the crowd
is unobtainable for some players, also there is another way to get it, by walking with a group of merchants.
Personally I tried the way you wrote about, maybe for 30 times. Still didn’t get it.
Thanks !
PowerPyx says
For me it worked how I wrote in the guide. It popped when I was standing with a regular crowd of people and whistled to lure a guard (I only did 2 kills walking with merchant group, other 8 kills were with random civilians).
If it doesn’t pop maybe rebooting game and redoing the kills helps.
Vivald says
Make sure your kill animation is you walking toward the guard for the kill. Your trophy will pop after 10 kills with this animation.
Rafal says
Did You get this trophy? I killed way more in the crowd and nothing :/ maybe only merchants count, dont know. Is there a way to fix it.
Fernandes says
Weird, i got a bug on Dervis’ Artifacts. On the Harbiyah district it says i got 3/4 and i can see the pickpocket target on the map. Thing is, i already stole it, i cant pickpocket the guy again. Not sure if i’m going to get the trophy when i get the last one… Anybody else had this?
Jeffy says
The Curio Collector is obtained after pick pocketing all 18 Dervis Artifacts. I am just now realizing this and have been killing all of them. Though some people are reporting they’ve accidentally killed one and still got the trophy. So I’m wondering if you actually have to pickpocket all 18 artifacts or will the action of turning them all into Dervis pops the trophy as well?
PowerPyx says
The actual trophy trigger is bringing them to Dervis, the trophy pops after that. So as long as you got all 18 artifacts (regardless of whether you killed the NPCs or not), you’ll get the trophy.
Kroeti says
I can confirm that the Snooze you lose trophy can be obtained from the people carrying mysterious shards. IMPORTANT: it does not work when you have the auto-collect skill from the trickster skill tree (if you purchased it just reset skills). I just got the trophy this way.
Gladdios says
The (scholar) trophy is glitched. I got all the lost books and obtained all the trophies in the game but whenever I try to return the book it won’t let me. (Basim) says not just yet to (Al Jahiz) although I have all the books. This was on PS5
Dreamus says
the trophy is bugged for me too. Hope they will fix it soon
Victot says
Not glitched, there is another book after you give him the 6.
Jesse says
I have this too… Been trying it for ages… Also the 10 kills blended in the crowd trophy dont pop up…
aWryStagg says
I got Snooze You Lose trophy from sleep darting someone with a mysterious shard
Ashley says
The snooze you lose trophy does also work on the people carrying the mysterious shards, i’ve just done it.
PowerPyx says
Thanks for confirming! 🙂
Dex says
The ‘You Snooze You Loose’ trophy is also obtainable if you use the blow dart on someone who is carrying a mysterious chard. It’s the same principle as when doing this on a guard with a key. Use the blow dart to knock them out, and then loot the body for the chard.
I got the trophy this way. So that makes it a lot less missable. Hopefully this will help someone out.
Fernandes says
You can obtain the “You Snooze, You Loose” achievement on a side contract as well. Specifically confirmed on a contract named “The State Official”, which you have to infiltrate the prison and kill a official.
Chub says
The Snooze You Lose achievement isn’t exactly missable. Another location should you use up all the Shards and all quest keys:
On the roof of the Bazaar, there is a big enemy that carries a White Key. This guy keeps respawning with the key (or at least did for me).
That one works for the achievement.
PowerPyx says
This is a great alternative, thank you for posting this! I’ll add this spot to the guide.
Only thing is he doesn’t respawn with the key for me after using it. I looted the key from him and used it on the chest behind him, fast traveled away to other end of map and came back. The enemy respawned but without a key. So it’s still missable if you end up looting his key and already used it.
JtR says
I killed a Shakiriyya and didn’t get the trophy. Either having mercenaries attack him voids the trophy or using poison does. My poison finished him off.
If you’re going for this trophy, don’t use either to be safe.
JtR says
Oh and the easiest way to get Notorious trophy is to just kill the head of the order. Afterwards you have max notoriety and you’re ina secluded area that nobody can reach. You can just sit there for ten minutes and go make a victory sandwich or something.
RAMBO99989 says
Hi Power I’m missing one trophy for the platnium it’s called Tools Of The Trade my shop won’t refresh stock to get enough cogs to buy last upgrade can you help? Id like to know how often stock refreshes I’ve tried dying, loading the game back up, spamming pass time on bench and waiting an hour or two doing nothing and it doesn’t work any advice please.
RAMBO99989 says
Finally got the platnium trophy it takes about 6-7 hours for trader stock to refresh
Jon says
Killing the horn bearer and then throwing the knife works too. If he’s flipped just lift him and throw him for a better position.
Gski says
How long exactly does it take for Merchants to replenish their stock? I’ve been running around grabbing collectibles for at least an hour and all traders I’ve visited still don’t have any cogs. What’s the in-game trigger? Cause from what I can tell, it’s definitely not time.
Uglytevez says
I got both the survive for 10 mins trophies against chickens. Just ran away from combat and jumped onto a ledge where the chicken couldn’t reach me to attack and waited. Maybe a glitch ????
Bosanac_1946 says
The Blend in the crowd trophy wont pop for me anyone Else?
Kevin says
Has anyone found all 25 Databases for Citizens of the Caliphate? I have 24/25.. and I have done absolutely everything including all contracts. Any idea where the last one is?
Kevin says
So I found out that the one I’m missing is “Ning The Treasurer” it didn’t pop/unlock her codex information under Citizens of the Caliphate. Is anyone else having this bug as well?
Zuhair says
Thank you for this guide
I alwayse come to your guide for any game
But i have to tell you that i take a manul save on my ps5 before i got the skills and all collectable trophy
When i upload it to my ps4 i got most of the trophies for ps4 version
I platinumed the ps4 version under 15 min. Most of combat trophies required just to kill a guard and all will pop out
Dogon says
I finished the game and have both costumes but the Masquerader trophy wont pop.
Mino says
Same here
Arincaa says
Even if you complete the game fully, you can search for a guard with a key in contract missons. Thats how I got the you snoose you lose trophy. I did it after completing 100%
jtnan3 says
I happen to get the grand bazaar gear chest in Karkh early BEFORE the mission that puts you in that area. I did not notice that the gear chest counter did not go up and now I am way past the point where I have an auto save. I have 4/6 chests in that area. The only other I need is the one in Qasr Salih.
Does this bug out the 100% completion trophy or will it be ok once I get that mission?
Cruella79 says
You can do a quick double trophy in this game, can check my name on trophy board somewhere and see I spent 30-45 minutes get it.
So what helped me was having 1 board quest left (so pretty much do the 10 and do rest on the ps4 save and one merchant chest to open).
So what I spent most time was finding a merchant chest.
Double platinum done quickly.
ziggurcat says
For the Up in Smoke trophy, do you have to be in active combat?
Jetli says
Hi Powerpyx,
Can you please do a video guide for “Spend Merchant Favor Tokens at traders to reduce all prices by -30% & Buy 100 Components (Cogs) whenever available” I mean how exactly does those merchant look like and can you buy all components you need on only just one?, and with tools I guess you mean the knives, blowdarts etc. right?
WickedMatrix says
Explorer trophy did not pop after 100% collectibles completed (all in orange colour). 7 books also collected and case closed.
Only solved 1 enigma puzzle. Going to solve the rest to see if that helps.
Anyone with similar issue ?
Sergio says
The blade in the crowd trophy was very glitchy. I did it in the prison, you can blend with the prisoners in the patio and they don’t get scared like regular people
FamedGuardian says
For some reason Spread the News (use Munadi 3 times) is stuck at 66%. Anyone else having issues completing this?
ahenishott21 says
For the scaffolding trophy, Gifted Escapist, there are 3 scaffolding right next to one another at the Excavation Site in the western part of the map. The downsides are it’s a bit of a hike and it’s guarded.
Rob says
There are three broken trophies. 1) Scholar. I receive the costume but not the trophy. 2) Explorer. I have all the wilderness chests but 1 didn’t count.
Jetli says
The Scholar trophy is not broken, cause you have to beat the story first so that you have access everywhere and the final book is not marked on the map, but it´s still there at the location of PowerPyx video.
Jetli says
Quotation: “No Autopop. Save Transfer is supported in both directions (from PS4 to PS5 & PS5 to PS4) through Ubisoft online cloud (not through local save). It automatically downloads the last Ubisoft Cloud Save you made, requires internet connection. However, this doesn’t autopop any trophies. Some combat trophies pop after doing one more of the required task, but no story trophies autopop. You’d have to manually transfer save before every individual trophy and redo the last part that triggers the trophy.”
Well this seems to be not correct, cause for me all trophies triggered by means of redoing the required tasks, but as for the story trophies ones, well I got them all autopoped when I did a faction contract.
And I only need to replay the story a bit until I´ve reached Bagdad, for the Riddle Me This trophy.
Also it is highly recommendable that before doing a new game to backup your save to the cloud, otherwise your current progress will be deleted.
elias_stevens says
Masquerader trophy is bugged. I’ve completed main campaign and I also unlocked all the costumes (including both nedeed) but trophy doesn’t pop.
elias_stevens says
So. the trophy is really buggy (or misssable at least) and there is no way to get it if you missed during the campaign. Luckily, I still had a save for the second half of the game.
The point is that in the mission “great symposium” you MUST match the “White Patient Robe” suit. On my first playthrough, I ran directly to the boss. Although the suit is automatically awarded upon completion of the mission, it does NOT count, you must pick and wear it manually durning the mission.
Hope that helps someone
Whitewolf.dk says
Eagle’s will can be done with snakes, go to the oasis with the viewpoint, there’s 3 snakes there, just get close but not so close it can hit you, stand there for 10 minutes and the trophy pops
ANoDE85 says
Thanks for the guide!
For the Gifted Escapist Trophy, there’s an alternate farming location. Fast-travel to the viewpoint south east of the Upper Harbor, and make your way to the Harbor using the most direct way (through the arch and to the right). You will see a scaffolding soon. Directly in front of the harbor is a second one, and from there go around the building’s right wall to find a third.
Alternating this with the Damascus Gate farming location will only take 5 iterations, instead up to 20 with the Damascus Gate one alone.
Superocco says
Any suggestions for the “Spread the News” trophy? It seems bugged and no matter what I do it just doesn’t unlock.
JJR says
By the way, Masquerader is missable.
I eliminated Al-Rasibu with a throwing knife from afar without getting close to him, and then carried on the story. Went back to the location where the disguise should be and it’s not there
Michael Shephard says
Great Guide but I would like for you to update *Gifted Escapist*
There is a much, much faster method that I have just done today. Rather than loading a Viewpoint, you can change your difficult. Change to any difficult and When doing so the world reloads and the Scaffolding respawns. You can continue to do this for the 20 times and it will then count to the trophy.
If you want you can have both methods on the list but I’m surprised no one tried this sooner!
Carlos says
Hey, sorry bit late to this game. How do I get more components after finishing main story? I heard contracts do not give you enough, I need 1400 plus for the tools trophy. To the traders restock daily? I have enough money to keep buying but alarmed that it’s taking so long to restock. Grinding in chests sounds a nightmare ahhh
Marcus says
Good guide. The trophy “Blade in the crowd” to me it only counted kills with the merchant groups, the trophy icon is the group in the game you have to hire using a green coin.
Not sure if it’s a bug or glitch, i almost went crazy when killed 30+ guards in the “normal” crowd and nothing, only popped using the merchant.
