Introduction
Welcome to the Ary and the Secret of Seasons Trophy Guide! Long ago, the world of Valdi was threatened by an evil mage. Now he’s imprisoned, but today, the world of Valdi is divided into four regions corresponding to the season they experience. For generations, the Guardians of Seasons, an old organization traditionally ruled by men, have sustained and protected these regions, passing their knowledge from father to son. Now, it’s Ary’s turn, a young girl whose task is to restore the seasons in Valdi.
Being an action-adventure platformer which is reminiscent of old-school PS2 titles, you can expect many collectible-related and grindy trophies. Most of them will unlock naturally during your first playthrough. The most challenging trophies on your way to the Platinum will be Speedrun, which requires you to finish the game in less than 5 hours, and
Pride Fighter for which you must never die during a whole single playthrough.
Step 1: Play through the Story on Easy and Unlock all Collectible-Related and Grindy Trophies
For this first step, simply enjoy the story. It is important that you become familiar with the game’s mechanics, puzzles, and where you need to go exactly. This knowledge will be vital when taking on the Speedrun and the No-Death run. After finishing the story, you can still freely roam through Valdi and take care of any remaining collectible-related or grindy trophies.
Step 2: No-Death Run on Easy and Ignoring all Side Quests
Now that you are quite familiar with the puzzle solutions and where you need to go, you can take on the No-Death run for Pride Fighter. To make this trophy a little easier, make extensive use of the in-game’s manual save system (up to 16 slots). Ideally, you want to make a manual save every time there is a challenging platforming sequence, when you have to fight a story-related boss, and groups of enemies that you necessarily have to fight as part of the story progression. In general, make it a habit to create manual saves every once in a while and do NOT engage enemies or go places when there’s no need to. Simply ignore them. Take your time, this is not the Speedrun.
During this step, now that you know what to do for the story, you can ignore all Side Quests. Ignoring them will decrease any death risk and unlock Distracted Intolerant.
If you feel like it, you can take on the Speedrun during this step. However, it is recommended to play through the game a third time just for that.
Step 3 (optional, but highly recommended): Speedrun on Easy
For your third and optional final step, it’s time to take on the most challenging trophy of the game: Speedrun. To unlock this trophy, you need to finish the game in less than 5 hours. Now, 5 hours isn’t exactly a lenient time requirement. To be able to comfortably beat the game in less than 5 hours, you need to know the game’s mechanics, the levels’ layouts, its puzzles, and where to go like the back of your hand. This is why it is recommended to do the Speedrun after the No-Death run. By now, you should know where to go. Needless to say, just focus on what’s needed to progress through the story. Avoid all Side Quests, unnecessary enemy encounters, Collectibles, talking to NPCs, and skip cutscenes. To make things a little bit easier, you can make use of the in-game’s manual save system to reload a previous save if you feel like you’ve lost too much time. Your save will keep track of how much time has elapsed. Pausing stops the timer and you don’t need to do the Speedrun in one single sitting (although recommended to not lose the flow).

Kris Kross Will Make Ya Jump 1000 times |
![]() |
As in any other platformers, jumping plays a key role. While 1,000 times seems a lot, it’s not and you will most likely unlock this during your first story-focused playthrough. If not, you will most likely unlock it naturally during your successive playthroughs, so don’t worry about this.

Speedrun Finish the game in less than 5 hours |
![]() |
To unlock this trophy, you need to finish the game in less than 5 hours. The challenging part about this is that 5 hours doesn’t leave much room for error. As a result, this should be your last trophy and should be attempted only when you’ve become quite familiar with the world, the game’s mechanics, the levels’ layouts, its puzzles, and where you need to go.
To comfortably speed through the game in less than 5 hours, focus only on what’s needed to progress through the story. Ignore unnecessary side activities like Collectibles, Side Quests, enemy encounters (except for those that are required to progress though the story), speaking to non-story-related NPCs, and skip cutscenes. To make it in time, you also need to keep running by holding To make things additionally easier, you can make use of the in-game’s manual save system to reload a previous save if you feel like you’ve lost too much time. Your save will keep track of how much time has elapsed. Pausing stops the timer and you don’t need to do the Speedrun in one single sitting (although recommended to not lose the flow). |

Sphere Wizard Cast each season sphere 200 times |
![]() |
Early in the game, Ary will learn how to harness the power of the seasons and be able to cast them to shape the world around her. To cast a season, you need to use the D-Pad. Casting each season 200 times means a total of 800 season casts (200 for Winter, 200 for Spring, 200 for Autumn, and 200 for Summer). It sounds like a grind, but it’s really not. In fact, this trophy will most likely unlock naturally during your first story-focused playthrough. If not, it will surely unlock during either of your successive playthroughs on your way to the Platinum. So, don’t worry too much about this.

Hash Slinging Slasher Kill 500 enemies |
![]() |
Throughout Valdi are different types of enemies: hyenas, explosive mushrooms, mandrakes, raccoons, jellies, flowers. To kill them, Ary has different weapons at her disposal. Some enemies can only be killed after activating certain seasons. If you die or go back to previously explored areas, enemies will respawn. At some point during the story, you will unlock the mace. This is a particularly powerful weapon as, at least on the Easy difficulty, it kills enemies in one or two hits. This trophy should be taken care of during your first playthrough. Play through the story and kill any enemy in sight with whatever weapon you’ve got. After you’ve finished the story, depending on how many times you’ve died during the story, you may have to kill some more. Most enemies are found in the Ostara and Lammtide Seacoast Regions. Fast-travel to these Regions, kill any enemy in sight with your mace, fast-travel elsewhere and then back to these regions. Rinse and repeat until the trophy unlocks.

Quester Complete 10 quests |
![]() |
Automatic story-related unlock. Completing 10 quests will happen naturally during the story as it has more than 10 quests. Don’t worry about this trophy.

Palette of Seasons Cast all seasons in one place |
![]() |
During the story, you will unlock and be able to harness the power of the four seasons. To cast all seasons in one place, choose any season and cast it. Then, go near the edge of the season sphere you’ve just cast and cast any other one. Now go near the edge of the second season you’ve just cast and do the same for the third season. Now go near the edge of the third season you’ve just cast and do the same for the fourth and final season. If you’ve done everything correctly, the trophy should unlock after casting your fourth season’s sphere.

Black Friday Destroy 100 spheres with black crystals |
![]() |
Now, before we’ll explain how to unlock this trophy, it should be noted that the black crystals in question are actually purple. The trophy description is also misleading because it sounds like you have to use these crystals to destroy a season sphere. Not exactly. What instead you have to do is have the purple crystals destroy the season sphere you create. To do so, get near a purple crystal and cast any season. If done correctly, the purple crystal should destroy the sphere you’ve just cast. Most likely, you will have to unlock this after the story. There’s a purple crystal north-west of the Ostara Region’s fast-travel point, on a hill, by some flower enemies. Go here and cast any season. Rinse and repeat until the trophy pops.

Wing Clipper Take down an enemy from afar |
![]() |
To take down an enemy from afar you need the slingshot (unlocked through story progression). To unlock this trophy, you need to be VERY far from an enemy. If you feel like you’re far away enough from an enemy and the trophy doesn’t unlock after you’ve killed it (use ![]() |

Kenjutsu Master Kill 5 enemies in less than 15 seconds |
![]() |
Killing 5 enemies in less than 15 seconds is a lot easier than it sounds. The best way to unlock this trophy is to first equip your mace and then find a large enough group of enemies and have them chase you. When they’re in close proximity to one another, swing your mace at them to kill them. When the mace is equipped, most enemies will die in a single hit, making this trophy very easy to achieve.

Slippery Slope Slide without interruption for 5 seconds |
![]() |
On your way to the Spring Temple, shortly after the beginning of this section, the floor will crumble and you will have to slide down a water slide to continue on. The area where the floor crumbles is opposite a lion statue. To be able to slide uninterruptedly for 5 seconds, you must drop down to the slide from EXACTLY where the floor starts crumbling. Jumping and starting to slide halfway through it will not amount to a total of 5 seconds. To be safe, make a manual save before the slide in the eventuality that the trophy doesn’t unlock.

On all levels except physical, I am a Stork Finish 9 stork towers |
![]() |
Scattered throughout Valdi are Stork Towers. These are indicated by a small sphere icon on the mini map and there are 9 in total. To complete a Stork Tower, you have to harness the power of the seasons to solve a vertical puzzle and make it to the top of the tower. It is recommended to take care of this trophy after you’ve finished the story. By then, you will be able to can cast any season and solve these easily.

The Enemy of Your Enemy Let 25 enemies perish by other enemies |
![]() |
Although this may sound tricky to pull off, it really isn’t. It will most likely unlock naturally during your story-focused playthrough. If not, the best way to unlock this trophy is to have some mushrooms chase you (you can find many of these in the desert hills on your way to the Cartographer). When there are enough in close proximity to one another, swing your weapon at the blue ones (these are explosive) and if done correctly they should kill the other enemies nearby. It should be noted that this trophy requires you to let 25 enemies perish by other enemies cumulatively and not all at once.

Feng Shui Disruptor Break 6 pots at once |
![]() |
To break 6 pots at once, you need to break them with one single weapon attack. You will most likely unlock this in Ary’s home, making it one of your first trophies.
![]() |
Distracted Intolerant Finish the game without completing any side quests |
![]() |
This trophy is best taken care of during your No-Death run. After playing through the game the first time, you will have a fairly good idea of where you need to go and especially the NPCs you will have to talk to to progress. Simply focus on the story and ignore everything else. To be extra safe, do NOT talk to anyone except story-related characters. If you have somehow talked to any side NPCs during your No-Death run, you will surely unlock this during your Speedrun.

There’s a bug in my soup! Defeat the Autumn Golem |
![]() |
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. To defeat the Autumn Golem, you need to cast the fall season on the overhead spheres when the boss rolls through the arena. The sphere will make it trip and then you can attack it at its core. After a while, the boss will split in two and you will have to attack its carapace hanging mid-air. This is done by casting the fall season. This will create a bubble of water that allows you to swim up to it. When you create the bubble of water, the boss will destroy using a purple crystal attack. When it does, you need to time your jump so you land on the carapace itself. When you do, swing an attack at it. Rinse and repeat until the boss is no more.

Marine Heart Defeat the Summer Golem |

Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. Defeating the Spring Golem means surviving and winning 3 different rounds of enemies. With your mace equipped, this will be very easy. Clever girl Defeat the Winter Golem |
![]() |
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. The fight will start with you having to ascend an ice tower. Since the sphere maintaining the season is slowly going up, you have to be quick so that the ground doesn’t disappear. When you reach the top, dispose of the icy enemies and then be ready for a long chase sequence. At some point, Ary will cut the rope that keeps the sphere attached to the golem. When she does, follow the bird until it stops. To weaken the golem, you have to cast spring stones at it when he’s about to hit you with ice projectiles. Hit it and it will fall to the ground for you to swing your weapon at him. Rinse and repeat until it’s dead.

Great job powerpyx.
Please make A trophy guide for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions on PS4.
The game is A lot of fun I think you will like it.
Also no one did A trophy guide for it yet as far as I know so you will be the first thanks powerpyx.
Darky says
Thanks for the guide… i played on 1.02 and unfortunately the trophy
On all levels except physical, I am a Stork
Is glitched …. i ended the mission and got 9 on 9.
Do you know anything fir this ?
Because i only have to do 2nd run and speedrun ….. with this one too 🙁
FranciRoosters says
No, the game is extremely buggy and the devs are still working on it. You can join their discord to report the bug if you want.
Ryan says
Wow i think the chests trophy may still be glitched they said trophies were fixed in patch 1.01 lol.I dont have the patience for waiting for a patch after have wasteland 3 crashing my ps4 50+ times during my supreme jerk run.So ill beat it than back to gamefly it goes.Note to devs of games in general coronavirus doesnt excuse you many of you work on your respective games half a decade or longer another couple months probably wont fix the kinks…furthermore its not 1992 bazillions of quality games release every week so pro tip the market is competitive either make a working product or find a different occupation.P.S. ive been gaming for a long time 50+ crashes (More predominant in so places but fairly common everywhere from loading to battle to menus) is ridiculous and beyond absurd games should not be released in such a volatile state so inxile qa was asleep and so were sonys ppl for letting a game like that go gold to manufacturer quintessentially millions of coasters lol.
Ryan says
So apparently the trophy for ten quests can also glitch the one called “quester”,because i beat the game and got “pride fighter”and “see it through to the end” but quester never unlocked. You might want to make a note in the guide.
Dragonaxe3 says
I’ve gone through 03 playthroughs and still cannot get the no side quest trophy. I honestly don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.
I only do 04 missions that don’t seem like they’re main quests.
Fix the elevator
The 03 to get your pass to the kingdom.
Dragonaxe3 says
I’ve figured out the issue. My first playthrough was before the 1.04 patch and then after. My second playthrough I didn’t speak to the hot cocoa guy before lighting the fire. My third playthrough I didn’t light the fire for the cold family.
To get this. You must do no side quests and only main quests.
The difference between the main and side quests is in the quests section. Main quests are yellow or gold, while side quests are white. You can do 03 side quests and be safe.
They are:
Cold Front
Hot Brew
and Dress for Weather.
They’re all in the same place (Lammatide) and are all required for the Story Quest Travel Precautions.
Stephanie Nyhus says
When you break pots, sometimes you find a berry. How do you pick up the berry?
MacG says
I’m pretty sure you can only pick up a berry if you don’t have full hearts.
ÙwÚøõfíes says
Could you PLEASE make a walk-through on how to beat the temples? I’m stuck on the Summer Temple and I can’t find out how to make it to the Summer Golem. Also please make a walk-through for the stork towers. Ty, also I’m too impatient to finish the story first xD
