We must find everything of various collectible types: All Safes & Locks, Conversations, Lagniappes, Clues.
There is no mention of difficulty-related trophies. But one that could still be a bit difficult is “Teetotaller” for not drinking from the flask for an entire playthrough. A 3 hour speedrun is also needed for “I Don’t Got All Night”. The best approach will likely be to do a collectible run first, then do the 3 hour speedrun, ideally without drinking from the flask (or spreading it out over 3 playthroughs). Given that the game can be finished in just 3 hours it should be a fairly quick platinum.

I hate games that have speed run trophies. Especially when its a $70 game and they are saying it can be beaten in under 3 hours. That makes me, and I’m sure a lot of others, not want to buy it until it goes on sale for $30.
jake2by4 says
The game is not $70 and no probably a lot of people don’t feel the same.
Jerry says
First, this is not a $70 game. And I mean like RE4 you basically can finish the game within 3 hrs…
Sean says
It’s not a $70 game for starters, and i’ll likely be a 10hr game first time like most new resident evils. Just because a game can be speed runned doesn’t reflect content, I did a Supernova playthough on Outerworlds in an hour, doesn’t mean it’s only an hour long game

I’m interested in Alone in the Dark (2024) but cautious because from what I’ve seen of the gameplay, it looks alright for a AA survival horror game, but still unsure if it will be good. I expect the first playthrough (when trying to do and find everything) to take a minimum of 10 hours or more, because if it isn’t, then I’m not buying the game (I don’t want another Resident Evil 3 Remake). I assume the easiest method would require 2 additional playthroughs for a no heal run and 3 hours or less run.
Also, why do the “Case Closed” and “Safe and Sound” trophies have the same description?
Anonymous says
The game has 2 playable characters, and one of them is a detective. Those are likely trophies for finishing the game with both characters.
Anonymous says
Yeah, that makes sense, thanks. I already knew that you could play as both characters, but I guess I forgot when looking at these trophies. However, their names should just be included in those trophy descriptions, rather than both trophies having the exact same description.
