Introduction
Welcome to the AI Limit Trophy Guide! AI Limit is a new indie soulslike made by first time developer SenseGames, with the help of the PlayStation China Hero Project. The game itself plays like standard soulslike, though with the main departure being no stamina bar which allows you to play the game in a fast and aggressive manner.
Trophy-wise AI Limit is very similar to a traditional souls game, requiring you to complete all side quests and endings, along with obtaining all weapons and spells which means you must do at least two playthroughs. There is a “point of no return” (Branch Hagios Patir: Upper Level – Path of Epitome), which locks you out of completing most side quests, but before then you can still complete them and set up all three endings, and after beating the final boss you can choose not to go into NG+ if you needed to clean up items.
Step 1: First Playthrough – All Side Quests, Prepare Endings
Simply follow the AI Limit Collectible Walkthrough and you’ll get everything automatically. It includes all collectibles and trophies.
In the first playthrough you should complete everything and prepare to get all three endings. There is one interaction with Shirley and Vikas that you need to watch for or it can caused Vikas’ questline to be missed and two side quests you need to pay attention to as they are related to two main story bosses (Stone and Feylia), but everything else is still possible to complete up until you reach the Branch Hagios Patir: Upper Level – Path of Epitome.
- Shirley and Vikas Interaction #4 – When you reach Hagios Patir – Upper Level > Cleansing Stairs you need to make sure you complete the shared Interaction #4 with Shirley and Vikas. If this is missed then Shirley’s questline will continue, but Vikas will disappear for the current playthrough so you cannot complete his questline.
- Stone’s side quest boss – is somewhat hard to miss as you are intended to get his help, but you need to make sure that when you reach the Branch Sunken City Underground: Underground Parish – Parish Station you ring the Ore Bell then interact with him and accept his help for the next boss (Winged Colosaint). Prior steps from his quest after the first interaction where you receive the Ore Bell can be missed, they are all optional.
- Feylia’s side quest boss – is much easier to miss as you need to interact with her in all prior locations before she will appear to help with the required boss and she is typically a little off the main path. The point you need to interact with her for the boss is at the Branch Sunken City Underground: Underground Parish – Trial Hall and accept her help for the next boss (Eunomia, the Respledent Bishop). You can still go back and interact with her in prior locations to then have her appear for the boss, but if you beat the boss without her you can’t complete her side quest or obtain the associated trophy in this playthrough.
For setting up all endings you need to make sure you don’t give Delpha the Living Seed item obtained after defeating the hidden boss Ursula, the Mutated until you are ready to lock in the ending. It is recommended you don’t fight this boss until you’ve given Delpha all Soil Samples and earned the trophy/achievement Gardener. All steps required for endings are included in the Walkthrough.
Step 2: Second Dawn Ending OR use Save Backup to complete All three Endings
Once you’ve reached the specified point and have prepped all three endings you can complete all three in this playthrough using save backups. If you aren’t, then it’s recommended you complete the Second Dawn ending as this is the most involved of the three.
Step 3: Second Playthrough – Boundless Stars Ending, Weapon/Spell Cleanup
For the second playthrough you should be aiming for the Boundless Stars ending which still requires completing the steps for Delpha and reaching the Courtyard of the Tree, but doesn’t require completing any other side quests. It’s recommended you still complete the steps for Stone and Feylia for their help with bosses. If you earned all ending trophies first playthrough then you just need to play up until you defeat Eunomia along with optional Ursula boss to trade the Nuclei for the remaining spells and weapons.
Step 4: Third Playthrough – The End of Childhood Ending
If you are doing three playthroughs for endings, then you will just need to run through the main bosses ignoring all side quests to trigger the final ending. Aside from Stone and Feylia you can ignore everything else, and just rush through as quickly as you can to complete the game.
Notes before starting:
- Opening the pause menu does fully pause the game unlike most other soulslikes. The game only prevents you from opening the menu if you are currently in an attack or dodge animation. You can use this to your advantage during fights if you need to change your currently equipped spell or use an item that you don’t have equipped in your Item slots.
- Items in your inventory in the “Goods” category are only used to sell for Crystals, so you can sell these when you have them. Most vendors also sell one or two of these items so you can use them to store Crystals if you have a large amount before a boss fight but not enough to level up. Note when doing this the items aren’t purchased and then sold for the same amount so you are losing some Crystals in this exchange. It is recommended you hold on to all Firebearer’s Codex until you earn the trophy related to them.
- DO NOT SELL ANY NUCLEUS. Nuclei function like boss souls in typical Souls games and can be sold to vendors in exchange for Crystals, but you need the majority of them to trade for Weapons and Spells. You CAN equip them in your Accessory slot as this doesn’t consume them, but note that when you change your currently equipped one you lose the amount of Crystals currently held relative to the Retention rate on the Nucleus, so don’t change them while you are holding a large number of Crystals. Example: if you are changing to one with 70% Retention Rate you will lose 30% of your currently held Crystals.
- The Broken Branch item you obtain near the start of the game (teleports you back to the last Branch visited) has unlimited uses and does not cause you to lose any of your currently held Crystals. You can use this to return to the Branch without penalty if you get in bad situations while exploring, though the animation time on it is quite long so it isn’t as viable for getting out of boss fights.

This is a required step regardless of which ending you are going for, so you will earn this in your first playthrough. NOTE: While going for either the Boundless Stars or Blooming Life endings make sure you have completed those prior steps before speaking with Loskid. Once you speak with Loskid and receive the Golden Branch it causes the other quest NPCs to completely disappear and locks you into The End of Childhood ending if you hadn’t completed the prior steps to receive the Azure Branch and completed Shirley’s quest up to where she stays in Path of Epitome. |

||

Friends Reunited Help Stone find his friend Hubert. |
![]() |
*MISSABLE*
This trophy is awarded for completing Stone’s questline, which is not required for any endings but one step is effectively required for defeating a story-related boss. Stone is unique in that all interactions between this and the initial one can be missed and aren’t required for his quest, and only reward some extra Crystals for interacting with him. |
||

The Battlefield of Humanity Encourage Vikas to return to the Hunters Guild. |
![]() |
*MISSABLE*
This trophy is awarded for completing Vikas’ questline, which involves speaking with him at 7 locations throughout the game, along with interacting with the second NPC Sklarm in 3 locations. The End of the Lost Ones Defeat all the lost Bladers. |
![]() |
This trophy is awarded for defeating all Lost Bladers. These are a unique type of miniboss that there are 6 of throughout the game, fighting with a moveset similar to your own and using weapon abilities. One of them is fought on the main story path early on, with the rest being off the main story path, but will all reward weapons when defeated so you will earn this trophy while collecting all weapons.
![]() |
Brilliance of the Tree Find the Courtyard of the Tree and enter it. |

Expanded Trade Routes Deliver all the documents left behind by Otto, an apprentice from the Moose Caravan, to merchant Kyen. |
![]() |
This trophy is awarded for delivering 3 document Key Items to the merchant Kyen, who you encounter at the Branch Sunken City Overground – Rooftop Street > Top Apron. Kyen is one of the two main vendors in the game, and bringing him these documents adds the three initial materials required to upgrade weapons to his inventory to purchase an unlimited number of.
Note the trophy seems to unlock just from bringing him the Merchant Map located in the Living Pond, even if you didn’t bring him both prior documents yet. |
||
![]() |
Fair Fight Fight alongside Feylia and defeat the Resplendent Bishops. |
![]() |
*MISSABLE*
This trophy is awarded for defeating the main story boss “Eunomia, the Resplendent Bishop” with the help of Feylia. This is the second last step of Feylia’s questline and one of the most missable points in the game, as you can defeat this boss without her help and she is normally located in slightly out of the way locations where you need to speak with her. She can still be spoken to in all prior locations though as long as you don’t proceed to fight Eunomia without her. |
||
![]() |
A Deadly Joke Reveal the true identity of Assis. |
![]() |
This trophy is related to completing Assis’ very short questline. Assis is a robot you will encounter on the main story path who functions as the vendor to trade Nuclei with in exchange for weapons. A short period after meeting him the first time he will move to the Temporary Campsite location and stay there the rest of the game.
To complete his questline and earn this trophy you need to pick up the item “Observation Report” which is located in the same room as the Outer-Wall Ruins: Factory Bypass – Research Center Branch which is right before the hidden boss Ursula, the Mutated. After picking this up return and speak with Assis to earn this trophy. |

Religious Scholar Find all the scattered pages of Firebearer’s Codex. |
![]() |
This trophy is awarded for picking up the 11 Firebearer’s Codex items that can be found in the Hagios Patir area. They function as text collectibles that give some small snippets of background information about the Church, and can be sold to a vendor for high amounts of Crystals. You don’t need to keep all of them in your inventory to earn the trophy, but if you sell them before finding them all you don’t have a way of knowing which you have picked up without following the walkthrough or manually keeping track, so don’t sell them if you are playing through without a guide to make cleaning them up later.
![]() |
Prosperity Repair all Branches. |
![]() |
This trophy is awarded for repairing all Branches throughout the game. Branches function as the typical bonfire mechanic, allowing you to upgrade your level and equipment along with traveling to other Branches. None are missable and you can still reach all Branches at the end of the game.
Below is the list of Branches as they appear in the menu in-game, with the overall area, then the sub area that the branches are divided into, Branches being the third level of the list. Note that the progression path of the game isn’t in this order, so don’t worry if you are missing Branches until you are near the end of the game: Sewer Town

Dawn says
Do you have any recommendations for which attributes to focus on?
Gage says
It’s really just dependent on what weapons you want to use and whether you want to use spells. If you’re primarily sticking to weapons you can focus on Stength and Technique, focusing on what scales better with your preferred weapon. I levelled Vitality very little and levelled Life to have 1200 HP by the end of the playthrough. About a third of the way through the game you can get an item that allows you to respec for free whenever you want so you don’t need to be worried about getting stuck in a build you can’t get out of.
Pebbles says
impressive, as always
Nikki_boagreis says
When i start the game oftentimes it crashes with error CE-108255-1.
Gage says
Are you on the newest update (I believe .20 today). I never experienced crashing issues on the updates before release, but maybe the update today has introduced a problem
Tore says
Tuto for all ouftit is possible? :3
Gage says
I can make a page for it, but will last after walkthrough and boss guide are finished since not trophy related.
Whereisthatshittybranch says
Guys, does somebody find Flooded Street branch? I cannot find it, and im already progressed much further. Thanks in advance.
Gage says
There is no Flooded Street Branch, that’s the “area” name the game separates the Branches into. I’ll clarify a bit about how that list is laid out.
Alan says
Assis for some reason won’t speak to me at the camp even though i have the observation record? i tried speaking to him before and after Ursual, and after the bishops but nothing?? is it a bug? or is there a step i missed?
Gage says
This could be a bug, there shouldn’t be a point where he stops speaking with you even after you give him the Observation Record.
You need to reach the spot where the record is again in NG+ so if he won’t speak to you regardless of travelling/restarting the game now you can still earn it then without going out of your way.
Alan says
i like this game but i highly advise waiting before going for the platinum, Assis won’t let me deliver the item, Vikas questline is bug after i exhausted the dialog with the fat dude they’re not near me at all. i’m 100% i exhausted all dialogs and did every step in this guide
