A Plague Tale Requiem has a Secret Armor in Chapter 9: Tales and Revelations. This guide shows how to get the Secret Armor (Bracers). It makes your health regenerate faster. To get it you must solve the Windmill Puzzle to enter a secret cave in Chapter 9.
Where to find Windmills Puzzle in Chapter 9
After leaving the first section in Chapter 9 (courtyard), you will reach a big open area outside. Here you can free-roam. From where you start this area, you can already see 4 Windmills in the distance. They are in the back right corner of the big open area. Go there.
How to Solve Windmills Puzzle
You have to turn off Windmills 1+2 and turn on Windmills 3+4. The Windmill number is shown above the entrance door. Windmill 3 is already turned on by default so you can skip that one and don’t need to enter it. After having turned the correct Windmills off and on, a door opens in a secret underground section. Go between Windmills 2 & 3, there’s a downhill path between the grass with 4 stone arches. Go through there to find the cave entrance. Climb down the ladder and go to the end of the cave to find the Armor. It’s a bracer for your arms and makes your health regenerate faster.
Below we’ll go through it step by step in detail.
1. Windmill 1
The door to Windmill 1 is already open. Simply enter the door, go upstairs, push the lever fully in to make the Windmill stop.
2. Windmill 2
Behind Windmill 2 is a rope attached to a wooden post. Pull the rope to make some crates fall down, then climb up those crates to enter the windmill. Again push in the lever to make this windmill stop.
3. Windmill 3
The third Windmill is already turned on, you don’t enter it. Skip this one.
4. Windmill 4
Left of the entrance to the fourth Windmill is a cart. Crawl under the cart, then climb up the ladder behind it. Aim through the open window and shoot the lock on the back of the door. Now the door is open and you can enter it. Pull the lever out to turn on the windmill.
5. Find Secret Armor in Cave
Go between Windmills 2 & 3, there’s a downhill path between the grass with stone arches. Go down there. At the end of this path is a ladder, climb down into the cave.
Follow the linear path through the cave until the end. The path should now be open if you turned the correct windmills off and on as described above (Windmill 1+2 turned off / Windmill 3+4 turned on). Pick up the Bracer at the very end of the cave.
