Stranded

While sailing back to the continent after surviving the island, Hugo and Amicia dream about their future new life. But the Count, filled with rage, catches up with them and boards them with his war ship. Amicia and Arnaud fought the Count’s men, but Amicia was hit and fell. Thinking his sister dead, Hugo attacked the Count, who seized him. The Count planned to use Hugo as the spearhead of his army of conquest. Cornered, Arnaud chooses to flee, jumping overboard with Amicia still unconscious.

Regroup with Lucas and Sophia

Amicia is still alive, taken care of by Arnaud who heals her wound.

On the beach, follow Arnaud until you see the shipwreck and…. the Count!

Duel

Save Arnaud

Arnaud will take it upon himself to fight the Count, but there are too many other soldiers for him to fight alone.

Aid Arnaud in his fight by killing soldiers using saltpeter sacks, tar pots, and your crossbow.

Meanwhile, Hugo, thinking Amicia is dead, has given himself to the Macula and demolishes Marseille.

At some point, two big armored soldiers will come looking for you. Use the crates and the dust in the air to find cover and shoot the weak point on their backplates when you find a safe way to do so, then land a crossbow shot. If you have environmental traps still available, you can also use these.

When you’ve killed both of them, the fight between the Count and Arnaud will end, tragically though, and we must fight the Count ourselves.

Kill the Count

Time to kill the Count. Simply land a headshot to kill him.

Amicia and Sophia will then mourn Arnaud, but Lucas notices that the Macula prophecy has fulfilled itself.

Reach Hugo

The trio is now on Sophia’s cart, trying to reach Hugo in Marseille which is surrounded by the Nebula and people running for their lives.

The doors to the city are locked though and there seemingly is no way to get inside.

When Amicia mans the cannon on Sophia’s cart, aim it at the hay bales and fence to burn them and create a path forward.

When huge waves of rats come bursting through the walls, aim and hold the cannon at them until the next cutscene.

Time to find Hugo!
