Quickhacks in Cyberpunk 2077 are used to hack enemies. This page explains how to unlock new Quickhacks. Having access to more Quickhacks creates new methods to deal with enemies, especially for Stealth.
What are Quickhacks in Cyberpunk 2077?
First, let’s explain what Quickhacks are and how they work. Quickhacks, as the name suggests, are used to hack enemies quickly while on the go. This can be done from anywhere, but depending on the rarity level of the Quickhack it might only work in stealth and not during Combat. Quickhacks include such things like “Reboot Optics” which shuts off their vision for a few seconds and is great for stealth, or “Overheat” which deals continuous burning damage, or “Detonate Grenade” which blows up the grenade on an unaware enemy’s belt. They are most useful for Stealth Gameplay to create diversions or to take out enemies from a distance.

How to Equip Quickhacks
By default you start with weak Quickhack Mods like “Reboot Optics” and “Short Circuit”. You can only have 2 equipped at the same time. To equip new and different Quickhacks: go to Menu > Scroll over Inventory and click the “Cyberware” Tab below it > Operating System > Mods.
It’s a bit hidden within many layers of menus. But there you can change to a new Quickhack.
How to Get New Quickhacks
To get new Quickhacks you must buy them from Netrunners. They are marked white on the map. To make them easier to see, scroll in on the map until you can press the prompt to filter for Service Points. Then it filters out other icons. There are only 3 of them, however. This is also why they can be so easy to overlook in the early game – with so many icons on the map and so few Netrunner Vendors, it’s not the most obvious thing.
Go to any one of them and check what they have for sale. Buy new Quickhack Mods from Netrunners and equip them as described above.

You can also craft Quickhacks yourself via the Intelligence Attribute > Quickhacking Skill Tree > Perks: School of Hard Hacks / Hacker Overlord / Bartmoss’ Legacy. This can come in handy for making some of the best Quickhacks in the game. You get crafting materials by dismantling gear that you no longer need.
That’s all there is to know about how Quickhacks work and how to unlock new Quickhacks. For the full List of all 17 Quickhacks and their Effects, refer to Cyberpunk 2077 All Quickhacks List.
