Introduction
Welcome to the New Super Lucky’s Tale Trophy Guide! Heavily inspired by classic platformers from the 90s, New Super Lucky’s Tale is the fun story of Lucky – a small fox – who after a series of unfortunate events gets separated from his family, the Guardian Order. Lucky’s job is to find and collect all the Pages from the Book of Ages scattered across the 5 Worlds in the game to defeat Jinx and reunite with his beloved ones.
Most trophies will unlock naturally on your way to 100% the game. 100%ing the game is needed to unlock the Platinum. Additionally, as with most platformers, you can expect lots of Collectibles and collectible-related trophies. Please refer to our All-In-One Collectible Guide for all Collectibles Locations in all of the levels. Some trophies are tied to miscellaneous tasks, with the most challenging ones requiring you to defeat some enemies and bosses without being hit.
Step 1: Play through the Story While Trying to Collect as Many Pages as Possible and Beat Jinx
Your first step is simple. Play through the story levels found in the 5 different Worlds (Sky Castle, Veggie Village, Wrestful Retreat, Gilly Island, and Hauntingham). To 100% a level, you need to collect its four Pages. One page is unlocked after finding the 5 L-U-C-K-Y letters in the level, one for collecting 300 coins, and one for completing the level. There’s also a fourth Page hidden somewhere in the level. Refer to our All-In-One Collectible Guide to know where all letters and the Hidden Pages are. At the end of Hauntingham, you will take on the final boss, Jinx. Beat him and you’ll get access to Foxington, an area with additional challenge levels, but with no Pages to collect.
Step 2: Coin Grind for All Costumes
If you’ve 100% all levels by the time you’ve completed all challenge levels in Foxington, all you should be left with is purchasing the remaining costumes for Lucky. Each piece of costume costs 700 coins. For the Platinum, you need to purchase all costumes that unlock as you complete the levels from the 4 different Worlds (the costumes that unlock for finding the 15 hot-dogs hidden in the challenge levels in Foxington and the costumes from Gilly Islands are NOT required). If you’re missing only a couple thousand coins, a good idea is to replay WriggleMania in Foxington over and over again until you reach the amount of coins you need. Each run can grant you up to 806 coins.
Step 3: Optional Clean-up and Miscellaneous Trophies
If you still need to clean up some levels or unlock some miscellaneous trophies, check the guide below to determine what you’re missing. Congratulations on your new shiny Platinum!

Xamo says
I have more 5000 coins and I don’t get the trophy “A Few Dollars More”. 🙁
Xamo says
Edit. I have the trophy!
Charlon says
Great guide as always. The Trophy treasure hunter requires more than the ones listed. I just kept running around till the trophy popped but its not just the listed 3 diamonds ?
FranciRoosters says
Thank you, good spotting! There were actually two missing.
Angelripper says
You still need the small purple diamonds to pop the trophy, not just the big ones. One is obvious by the anchor to the right, and I think one was on top of the hut you use to jump to the big hidden diamond.
Charlon says
Are there any other requirements for “lucky is my name” trophy? Been doing the last part with no damage for ages and it won’t pop ?
FranciRoosters says
I didn’t have any problems unlocking this trophy. It sounds like a glitch. Try losing the game or reinstalling the game.
JTran says
you dont actually have to restart if you get hit. you can just die and start from the checkpoint
PhantomFear94 says
Unless anything has changed from the OG Xbox One release, Smooth Criminal and The New Champ are an utter PITA. Good (underrated) game, but those two suck big time.
FranciRoosters says
Yeah, these trophies are frustrating. Just take your time, don’t rush them.
eric Golden says
Smooth Criminal and The New Champ are trophies? If I get hit can I just die and restart or have to play the whole level from begin?
FranciRoosters says
You can just die and restart.
