Wolves at the Gates is a main tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Wolves at the Gates Main Quest.

Mission Info: The road into Toyotama are blocked, but I’m going to break through. Yuna0s hunter contacts agreed to help us retake Fort Kaminodake from the Mongols. Once the fort falls, the path will be clear to reunite with my allies. I hope Yuna’s able to gather everyone in time for our attack.

Starting Location: Jogaku Temple
Find Takeshi’s Camp in Sago Prefecture
Head to the investigation area to find Takeshi’s Camp.
Speak with Takeshi
Speak with Takeshi to talk to him about your and Yuna’s plans.
Speak with Takeshi at the Cliff Overlook
Now approach the nearby cliff overlook to keep talking to Takeshi.
Travel to Fort Kaminodake
Now make your way to Fort Kaminodake. If you’ve already found it, you can fast travel to Jito’s Foothills Hot Spring which is right of the Fort, making it faster for you to reach it.
Meet Takeshi’s Hunters at the Lumber Camp
As you approach the Fort, you’ll have to meet with Takeshi’s hunters in order for you to have an access point into the Fort.
Climb the Cliff into Fort Kaminodake
To reach the hunters and the access point, walk up the collapsed building to be able to see an 
prompt on a branch. Use the grappling hook to swing across and reach the hunters.
Survey the Fort
After climbing the cliff and joining the hunters, crouch next to them to survey the fort.
Defeat the Mongols
Now get rid of all the Mongols in the Fort. You are not limited by an approach here, you can either be stealthy or attack head-on. There’s a good variety of enemies here, so if you decide to attack head-on, consider switching between your Stances to better tackle them.
Regroup with the Hunters
Now rejoin the group of hunters to continue on.
Wait for the Mongol Patrol to approach
Immediately after the next cutscene, the gates will open and a new Mongol patrol will approach. Again, switching between stances to deal with enemy diversity is a good way to eliminate them efficiently.
Defeat the Mongols
Now defeat this group of enemies. Continue switching between Stances depending on whether you have swordsmen, spearmen, or shielded enemies before you.
Advance through the Fort with the Hunters
Continue on through the Fort until a new objective appears.
Investigate the Fight at the Toyotama Gate
Approach the Cliff to witness what’s going on at the Toyotama Gate.
Survey the Keep
Now climb up the ladder of the building on your right and survey the keep from the outside balcony.
Defeat the Mongols
Now use your grappling hook on the next few branches and climb up the cliffs to reach a first new group of Mongols to defeat.
Reach your Allies
Now head to the next marker to regroup with your allies and be ready to fight another wave of enemies.
Defeat the Mongols
Now kill all the Mongols from this second wave. After defeating them, this tale will end.
This finishes the Wolves at the Gates quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
