Dreams of Conquest (Ishikawa Tale 5 of 9) is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Dreams of Conquest Side Quest.
Dreams of Conquest is unlocked when you’ve completed The Way of the Bow and started Act 2.

Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Ranged Charm, +2 Silk
Mission Info: (Ishikawa Tale 5 of 9). An Ishikawa Tale (5 of 9). Sensei Ishikawa heard rumours of a Japanese archer aiding the Mongols in Akashima. He suspects this archer is his rebellious former student, Tomoe, and decided to investigate. I will join him in Akashima when I can
Objectives:
- Look for Ishikawa east of the camp
- Defeat the Mongols
- Speak with Ishikawa
- Defeat the Mongol archers
- Speak with Ishikawa
- Go with Ishikawa to Tomoe’s camp
- Survey Tomoe’s camp
- Defeat the Mongols in Tomoe’s camp
- Search the camp for signs of Tomoe
Starting Location: Dreams of Conquest
Look for Ishikawa east of the camp
Once the mission starts, mount your horse and set off due east, where you’ll eventually come across Ishikawa battling some Mongols.
Defeat the Mongols
Take down the group of enemies. Beware that there are many archers in this section, so take them out with your bow or remember to block their projectiles frequently.
Speak with Ishikawa
Head slightly north to find a wounded Ishikawa.
Defeat the Mongol archers
Another group of archers will attack, so again either take them out with your own bows or get up close and easily dispatch them with your sword. These archers can double-fire, so keep your guard up with 
until you see them reloading.
Speak with Ishikawa
Return to Ishikawa for a cutscene.
Go with Ishikawa to Tomoe’s camp
Ride north west with Ishikawa, and after a fairly long ride with a couple of stop-offs to inspect dead peasants, you’ll dismount and go on foot to the camp.
Survey Tomoe’s camp
Press 
to star the survery, then use the right stick to find the spots where you can press 
for an observation.
Defeat the Mongols in Tomoe’s camp
Take out the group of Mongols in front of you. You can start off with stealth, although it’s likely you’ll get spotted at some point as there is little in the way of hiding spots. Take out the archers and the brutes to complete this objective.
Search the camp for signs of Tomoe
You’ll need to interact with a couple of scrolls around the camp. First is a supply list on a crate next to Ishikawa, then there’s another letter on a crate inside a hut to the east.
