Ice Stone is an evolution item in Pokemon Sword & Shield, combining it with certain Pokemon allows them to evolve. This guide shows where to find Ice Stone Location in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Ice Stone Location #1:
- Ice Stone is located in Lake of Outrage (Wild Area). It’s in the north-west of the Wild Area. There’s a big rock circle there. Behind each rock you find a different type of Evolution Stone, one of them is the Ice Stone. You must first unlock the water bike (automatically on Route 9) to reach Lake of Outrage. Drive through the water that blocks off this area.
Ice Stone Location #2:
- Another Ice Stone can be found on Route 9. This is actually right where you unlock the Rotom Water Bike for the first time. From the Surgeon NPC that gives you the bike, drive through the water to the top right corner to find a glowing item pickup.

This site was very useful for completing my pokedex. I still think that umbreon and espeon should evolve with either dawn and dusk or sun and moon stones respectively and sylveon should evolve with a shiny stone as glaceon and leafeon got stone evolutions this generation

If you want to grind watts, there’s the digger bros next to the wild area day care that can dig up the stones.
Is there a way to get an ice stone without using Lake Outrage. Like for the fire stone you can get one way sooner.
