Kill Wick and Warty is a side mission in Borderlands 3 (BL3). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Kill Wick and Warty Side Quest.
Kill Wick and Warty is a rare randomly appearing side mission that shows up on the notice board in Sanctuary. It can appear any time after first arriving on Sanctuary, it’s just random at which point it will be available. Always check the map for new quests when going to Sanctuary and do it as soon as you see it! The Sanctuary Message Board Kill quests are repeatable and will reappear later again. This and other Sanctuary kill quests are not needed for the “All Side Missions” trophy and achievement, but they do add +1 to your total completed missions
You need to have at least started the side quest “Kill Killavolt” to have access to the Lectra City area where the enemies are located. The Sanctuary Message Board Kill quests are repeatable and will reappear later again.

Kill Wick and Warty
To complete this mission you need to first have access to the Meridian Metroplex area on Promethea, then head to the travel location to enter the Lectra City part of the map.

If you haven’t you need to have at least started the “Kill Killavolt” mission so that you can get into the area proper of Lectra City. Otherwise you are just locked in the initial room. Once you have this available head out and to the West immediately when entering the area.
Once you get near the area Wick and Warty should spawn and start attacking you. Wick is the blue-haired enemy that throws stuff at you, and Warty is the pair of short enemies that run around and try to hit you. They aren’t particularly tough, with Warty going doing very quickly. Just avoid the warps they are doing and shoot them when you can.

Once they’ve been defeated you’ll get a shower of loot and complete the mission.
This mission is repeatable and respawns randomly at a later time (same as all other kill quests from notice boards). To make it count towards your total completed missions you only need to do it once!
This finishes Kill Wick and Warty side mission in Borderlands 3. The Sanctuary Message Board Kill quests are repeatable and will reappear later again.

It‘s bugged for me, I remember that only Wick spawned for me while I was doing the Toilet guy sidemission. Later I got the Kill Wick and Warty sidemission and now they won‘t spawn. That sucks!
This is not counted as a side mission. The quest also isn’t random. You only get a quest if someone on your friends list kills them. Any other time, it’s a random soawn in that lication.
The game counts and tracks it as a side mission. Zoom out to Orbit in world map, it will add +1 mission after you complete this for the first time.
However, the random rare spawn kill missions are NOT needed for the “All Side Missions” trophy / achievement.
