This walkthrough shows all Boss Fights / All Bosses in Resident Evil 7 on Madhouse Difficulty. Beating the game on Madhouse difficulty unlocks the “Who’s Your Daddy Now?” trophy / achievement and the Infinite Ammo Cheat. This is a supplement to the Resident Evil 7 Trophy Guide & Roadmap.

Below is a list of simple methods to kill the bosses quickly. One weapon that I use a lot is the Circular Saw. When pressing L2+R2 (LT+RT) it does tremendous damage and kills some bosses within seconds. Even better: it doesn’t consume any ammo and can be used infinitely, making it the best choice of melee weapon. It is unlocked by speedrunning the game in 4 hours or less on any difficulty. The items “The Essence of Defense” (for destroying all 20 Mr. Everywheres) and “Secrets of Defense” (for completing the game on normal difficulty) cause you to take less damage from blocking. Put these items in your inventory from the item box! Some of the tactics in this guide are based on these items and it’s highly recommended you unlock them before attempting madhouse. It will make your playthrough much easier.
Mia Boss Fight Old House (0:05)
Block her attack with L1, then attack once and repeat. Always block, attack, block, attack and so on.
Mia Boss Fight Attic (1:12)
One of the trickiest fights in the game. Before this fight you should backtrack to pick up the axe where you previously fought her. Now collect all 4 ammo packs in the attic and do headshots on Mia. Ammo is very limited so don’t miss a shot. Make manual save before this fight. Use the full available space and let her cut down doors – when she does that you have a moment for easy headshots. Run in circles around the area and shoot when she slows down. Remember you can also block some of her chainsaw attacks. After blocking she will be stunned for a short period of time and you can shoot her a few times. If you run out of ammo use the axe.
Jack Baker Boss Fight Garage (3:43)
Get the Lock Pick in the garage and use it on the locked box. Get key from box, use key to start car. Run him over with the car. Easy peasy.
Jack Baker Boss Fight Morgue (7:00)
Circular Saw is your friend here. It will kill him in a few seconds. He won’t even have a chance to attack you. Press L2+R2 with saw to do more damage.
Marguerite Boss Fight Old House (8:12)
She will throw you down a hole and spawn some bugs. Shoot her quickly with a pistol (in the head) before she spawns any bugs. Some flying insects are already there when the fight starts. Repeatedly press the right stick to stand up and crouch and they won’t be able to hit you.
Marguerite Boss Fight Garden House / Greenhouse (9:57)
Use the Circular Saw again. Try to attack the thing on her belly. Hold L2+R2 with circular saw for increased damage. She will hardly ever have a chance to attack you and mostly just try to run from your attacks.
Barn Fight (12:20)
Technically not a real boss fight, but you will encounter two fat enemies here and it’s one of the hardest sections on madhouse. Use a grenade launcher with Neuro rounds to stun them. While they are stunned follow up with enhanced pistol ammo headshots. Try to down one of them as quickly as possible. Anything from the grenade launcher is good here. Attacking their body does hardly any damage so do headshots. Enhanced ammo makes a huge difference here.
Mutant Jack Baker Megaboss (15:06)
Mutated Baker has lots of weakspots all over his body. They look like orange eyes. Swing the circular saw around and block his strikes. The item unlocks “The Essence of Defense” and “The Secret of Defense” make a huge differene as you won’t take damage when blocking. They are unlocks from beating the game in under 4 hours and finding all collectibles. Just run around Jack’s body on the lower floor and press R2/RT quickly to swing the circular saw at his weakspots. This won’t consume any ammo and he can’t attack you as long as you’re behind him / to his side. After destroying all weakspots he will attack you very quickly which you must block. Then there’s a short window to get some hits in. Keep some enhanced pistol ammo or shotgun shells for this last part and attack his eye.
Mia Boss Fight Old Ship (21:50)
You only get to fight her if you chose to give the serum to Zoe. Pick up the crowbar on the floor. Now do what you did in the very first fight. Block an attack, then counter attack. Block, attack, block, attack… repeat.
Eveline Final Boss Fight Endboss (23:19)
First Part: Block her shockwaves and run towards her between shockwave attacks. Block when she’s about to do a shockwave.
Second Part: When her face comes from the wall towards you, shoot everything you’ve got at her eyes. She should moan two times and then grab you with her tentacles. Run left and right to get in a spot where she can grab you. The fight only continues if she can grab you, otherwise you die.
Third Part: Shoot everything you’ve got at her face as quickly as possible. Try to get a lot of damage done before she lifts you in the air. While in air shoot her eyes and use your strongest weapon, such as grenade launcher or .44 Magnum.
