Upgrade Material: Adamantite Scrap
Item Description: Adamantine ore with a dull, silvery shine.
Base material commonly used in advanced Prosthetic Tool upgrades.
Adamantite can only be mined in the oldest parts of Ashina. Ancient rock and soil is said to attract the grace of gods, perhaps lending this metal its supple strength.
Locations:
- Sunken Valley: Riven Cave – Grapple up twice to the tunnel above you where you will find one of these.
- Ashina Depths: Hidden Forest – Right at the start of the area with the large building with the Mist Noble inside just past the first two black chickens is a slightly raised platform immediately left where you can find one of these.
- Ashina Depths: Mibu Village – 2 can be purchased from the Exiled Mob who is directly to the right of this Idol.
- Ashina Depths: Mibu Village – Head to the opposite side of the river, then down the hill to the dead end. On top of this house you’ll find a pickup for one of these.
- Ashina Depths: Mibu Village – Head to the very back of the village area, to the final house beside the water wheel. Behind this house on a raised ledge you’ll find one of these.
- Ashina Depths: Water Mill – Head to the building with the group of enemies in front of it, then go inside through the trapdoor in the floor then head out the hole in the wall. Take an immediate left around the back of the building to find a pickup for one of these.
- Ashina Castle: Old Grave – (After you lose access to most of the Ashina Castle Idols) Head back into the lower part of the Castle where there is a new Ogre miniboss. On the shrine in the middle of the room is a pickup for 1 of these.
- Ashina Castle: Upper Tower – Ashina Dojo – (After you lose access to most of the Ashina Castle Idols) Just beside this Idol on the corner of a wall you will find a new pickup for one of these.
- Hirata Estate – (After using the Owl’s bell on the buddha to go to the new memory) 2 are dropped by the miniboss you run in to when he is defeated.
- Potentially dropped by the enemies in the Fountainhead Palace area.
- Hirata Estate: Hirata Estate – Main Hall – (After using the Owl’s bell on the buddha to go to the new memory) In the area right before the entrance to the main building, there is one sitting right beside the tree in the location you originally fought Juzou the Drunkard.
- Potentially dropped by the enemies in the Fountainhead Palace area.
- Fountainhead Palace: Vermilion Bridge – Head down to the left all the way to the last building, in the area with the white dog enemies wandering around. Inside the left part of the building you will find a pickup for one of these.
- Fountainhead Palace: Vermilion Bridge – Head down towards the buildings, and you’ll come to one that has a bridge beside it leading out into the lake. Farther out from this bridge is a destroyed building half in the water, and there is a pickup inside for one of these.
- Fountainhead Palace: Mibu Manor – In the building opposite the one with the old woman you can talk to, across the area with two bridges, there is a red robed enemy and two warriors, directly behind them is one of these.
- Fountainhead Palace: Flower Viewing Stage – Head all the way around the left of this building to where the Sakura Bull of the Palace boss is located. In the corner of this area you’ll find three pickups, with one being 1 of these.
- Ashina Castle: Upper Tower – Antichamber – (After defeating Divine Dragon) Head up the stairs then into the room on the right with the large balconies, you will find a pickup in here.
- Can be dropped by the Red Armored Ministry enemies which appear after defeating the Divine Dragon.
- Ashina Castle: Old Grave – (After defeating the Divine Dragon) Head across the new bridge and then to the left, over to the small shrine with the note on it. Just beside this is a pickup for 1 of these.
- Ashina Castle: Old Grave – (After defeating the Divine Dragon) Head just past the structure that you originally fought the Chained Ogre in front of, and continue forward to the new log tower just in front. On top of this tower is one of these.
- Ashina Outskirts: Outskirts Wall – Stairway – (After defeating the Divine Dragon) Head back up the path the opposite direction from the castle, on the main path just before the broken looking tower structure you will find one of these.
Usage: This item is used for Prosthetic Tool upgrades of Tier 4 and above.
