Far Cry New Dawn All Dear Photograph Locations

Far Cry New Dawn has 9 Dear Photograph Locations. Finding all of them unlocks the “Before” trophy or achievement. They are also required to complete A Thousand Words Side Mission.

None of them are missable, you can still find these Collectibles after the story. In order to start collecting the Photographs you must first pick up Tracey’s Shoebox at Prosperity (your home base). It will be marked as a side mission with a blue icon on the map, we’ll go through the exact location below. Once you have this you can go to the Photo Locations. There you find a yellow mat with a camera on it. The camera will point in the direction of the photo. Stand on the yellow mat and hold to pull out the picture, then align it correctly. When done correctly the screen will flash and you receive a Perk Point.

You can unlock the Photograph Locations on your in-game map by upgrading the Cartography Shop at Prosperity and buying the dear photographs map from there.

To keep track of how many Photos you’ve found simply zoom out on the world map for all statistics.

How to Take Dear Photos – Tracey’s Shoebox

Before you can get any Photographs it is mandatory that you interact with Tracey’s Shoebox which is upstairs in the main building of Prosperity (your base of operations). The shoebox sits next to a piano and gets marked by a blue side mission marker on the map once it’s available. If you don’t see it just keep progressing the story. This box contains 9 pictures of what the world used to look like before Father nuked the place. Your goal is to go to these spots and align the photos with what’s left in present time.

Photograph Locations

Dear Photograph #1 – Just outside Prosperity. Stand on the yellow mat with the camera on it and face the same way as the camera, then hold to align the picture.

Dear Photograph #2 – At Rye & Daughter aviation.

Dear Photograph #3 – At the Chop Shop outpost.

Dear Photograph #4 – At the Refinery Outpost.

Dear Photograph #5 – At Sergey’s place, facing the broken bridge from the river.

Dear Photograph #6 – At the Pantry Outpost.

Dear Photograph #7 – At Chateau Boshaw.

Dear Photograph #8 – At the Old Compound, the church.

Dear Photograph #9 – At Joseph’s Sanctuary.
