The Lab Code Puzzle of Resident Evil 2 Remake takes place in the Greenhouse Control Room and Drug Testing Lab. This guide will show you the solution for the Laboratory Terminal Code / Keypad and how to synthesize the Herbicide using the Dispersal Cartridge.
This Puzzle consists of two Parts. First, you need to enter two Codes at the Control Room Terminal. One of them unlocks a ladder leading down to a basement (via Greenhouse), the other unlocks the synthesizer in the Drug Testing Lab which you need to “craft” the Herbicide. For the second part you must use the Synthesizer Machine inside the Drug Testing Lab to fill the Dispersal Cartridge.
Greenhouse Control Room Code Solution
The Control Panel has blue alien looking icons on it. Just imagine it as a normal numbers keypad or the numbers on your phone. Number 1 is in top left, 9 in bottom right, 0 at bottom center. Normally you’d find one set of numbers on the ladder leading to the basement and the second set of numbers would be on a trophy (key item) in the basement. But you can enter the numbers straight away and skip all of the searching, the codes will be the same for everyone.
Lab Code Combination A Scenario (1st Playthrough): 3123 & 2067
Lab Code Combination B Scenario (2nd Playthrough): 2048 & 5831
Dispersal Cartridge Puzzle / Herbicide Synthesis
You get the Dispersal Cartridge from the Control Room, the same room where we just entered the codes. Now that the Drug Testing Lab is fully unlocked, head there (through the Greenhouse) and put the Dispersal Cartridge in the Synthesizer. Again, the solution for A-Scenario and B-Scenario differ. The goal is to fill up the left side cartridge to where the red ring marker is. You first must swap the fluids between the 3 cartridges to combine different amounts. Do note that each cartridge has a different height and can therefore only fit a certain amount of fluid. We’ll go by the 3 colored buttons that can be pressed at the bottom of the machine (Green is Left, Red is Middle, Blue is Right). If you haven’t touched any buttons yet, these combinations will work from the default starting position.
Solution A-Scenario: Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green, Blue, Red, Green
Solution B-Scenario: Blue, Red, Green, Red, Blue, Red, Blue, Green, Blue, Red, Green
After you synthesized the Herbicide you still need to cool it. Now you must head down into the basement via the ladder in the Greenhouse. Make it through the basement until you find the Signal Modulator. Examine it to put the frequency shown on the Switch Box in the basement. Then put the Signal Modulator in the switch box (with aligned frequency level) to turn on the power. Now you can enter the Low-Temp Testing Lab and cool the Herbicide. Lastly, return to the Control Room to disperse it in the Greenhouse. Then you can reach the ID card of the dead scientists. The rest of the game is mostly just boss fights, so there are no more puzzles.

Please help I am stuck on this puzzle and unfortunately been trying to solve it myself by moving the viles Around but still I am stuck I am doing Leon B story andy save files are feather back in the game this puzzle has become very frustrating and stressful as I can’t continue forward until I solve puzzle?
