The Sphinx is a secret boss in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that’s part of the Atlantis questline. The Sphinx will give you a series of riddles. She has 12 riddles but will only ask 3. This guide contains all riddle solutions. It’s randomized which of the 12 you are asked but you must answer all 3 correctly or else you get killed and must start over with a new set of questions.
First, to even get to the Sphinx, play Side Quests “A Family’s Legacy” (Thera) > “Lore of the Sphinx” (Boeotia Region) > “Awaken the Myth” (Boeotia Region). The earliest you can do this is in Sequence 7 after main quest “United Front”. A Family’s Legacy will bring you to Atlantis. After discovering Atlantis you unlock the “Lore of the Sphinx” Quest. From here it’s easy, just follow the waypoint markers.
Be sure to remember your riddle answers or write them down! After talking to the Sphinx you must press 3 buttons that correspond with your answers. If you make a mistake here you have to start over again.

I answered Wind instead of Sun, and it still accepted it as the right answer
Somebody says
Wind shouldn’t work because you need to be cool where the thing is _not_
Darkendangel says

Atasi Das says
I asked these questions to my friends and they answered quite well later I told these are the questions that Sphinx asked, and guess what they were thrilled that they have answered it…..
Will says
The Sphinx was hard thanks for the help hope you have more for the other bosses soon?
Steve says
Question #9 has actually been lifted. So you could say I cheated by already knowing the answer when the Sphinx asked it:
It was actually asked by Gollum to Bilbo during chapter 5 “Riddles in the Dark” of The Hobbit (pg 74 (of my 1978 edition))
Somebody says
Riddles 6 and 12 are also paraphrased from “The Hobbit” (Although the sphinx missed the last line to complete the rhyme. Given the paraphrase, the Sphinx should have concluded with: “Clad in mail, yet I never clink”. ie. scales)
