Damsel in Distress is a side task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Damsel in Distress side task.
- Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region > mill between Bylany and Old Lhota

- Requirement: Complete Main Quest 14: Speak of the Devil
- Reward: Nothing
- Quest Type: Task
- Quest Description: The old miller locked his wife in a shed and apparently went to fetch an axe. It’s time to teach him a lesson in manners!
Objectives:
- Look around the woodshed for the miller
- Go back to the miller’s wife
- Talk to the miller
Starting Location: Damsel in Distress
To start this quest, go to the mill that is located on the road between Bylany and the Old Lhota fast travel point. Approach the shed where you can hear a woman yelling and lockpick the door open. Agree to help her to start the task.
Look around the woodshed for the miller
Go around the house to the marked woodshed and look around. No miller here!
Go back to the miller’s wife
Go back and see the miller’s wife again.
Talk to the miller
Turns out it wasn’t the miller’s wife, and was someone who was stealing from him. You have the option of passing a speech check, running away, or paying for the items she had stole. Whatever option you pick, you complete the task.
This finishes Damsel in Distress side task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

How do you even start this quest though? Just going to the shed she isn’t there. I even got the tip in Bylany but she still isn’t there.

Ok so after picking up Main Quest 18: Taking French Leave, you will see blue exclamation mark in Bylany and baker will tell you about a task in the mill. Before that main quest, you cant do this task and therefore you cant do task called Victimize either.

Has anyone confirmed when you can do this task? I’m currently doing all the side quests/tasks after starting “the underground”. I’ve heard the quest giver baker lepek of bylany gives you the tip for the task but when? I’ve heard it can start from “via argentum” through to some receiving it during “lions den”… help please…

The quest tipster popped up about half way through the main quest “via argentum” after having done ” the fifth commandment” and “post scriptum” side quests. I also did a sword tournament, which progressed the game 5 days.
