For the I’ll Be Back Trophy in Detroit Become Human Connor has to die at every opportunity before reaching the end (All Connor Deaths).
For this Connor must die 10 times in one playthrough. You have to start a New Story for this! You can’t just jump in one chapter to let him die and move on to the next – this would not update your progress between chapters and doesn’t earn the trophy. All chapters must be replayed one after the other, not skipping any chapters in between. Some chapters have more than one way for Connor to die. In those you need just one death, I always picked the first possibility to die in each chapter. You must also be hostile with Hank so that he shoots Connor in the “Bridge” Chapter. Always be disobedient to him, talk bad about androids, be cold, spill his drink, kill the two Tracis in Eden Club to really get him mad. When you visit Amanda you can check the graveyard in the back of her garden to view your deaths.
I played on Experienced Difficulty for this and recommend you do the same (it’s easier to get some characters killed early on to shorten the story). Again, I want to point out it has to be a new playthrough from start to end, not chapter select. Go to MAIN MENU > NEW STORY > EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTY.
You can cut this playthrough short by letting Kara die in “Chapter: On the Run”, when she crosses the highway with Alice. Just don’t press any buttons and a car will kill Kara and Alice, thus removing all their future chapters (must play on Experienced Difficulty).
You can also let Markus die during “Chapter: Freedom March”. When the police stops the March, pick option 
ATTACK > don’t press any buttons to lose the fight and then make Markus shoot himself after he loses. This removes all of his upcoming chapters and you can save a lot of time.
All Connor Deaths:
- 1) The Hostage: Daniel (the deviant holding the girl hostage on the balcony) shoots Connor in the face OR Connor leaped after Emma and fell to his death.
- 2) The Interrogation: Connor must have found the deviant in ‘Chapter: Partners’. Then you get to do the Interrogation. This chapter is optional but needed for the trophy. If you didn’t find the deviant in ‘Partners’ you won’t get to do the interrogation and will miss the trophy! During the interrogation, pick
PROBE ITS MEMORY > 
PROBE > GET UP > Talk to the deviant before leaving the room, pick 
COLD > LEAVE ROOM > INTERVENE. Now the deviant grabs the gun of a police man and shoots Connor in the face. Remember, even though this chapter is optional it is mandatory for the trophy! - 3) On the Run (Kara’s Level): Connor chases after Kara and climbs the fence to cross the highway, gets hit by car and dies. For this to work Kara & Alice must cross the first highway alive. Only then Connor can jump over the fence. Do not press any buttons with Connor and he’ll get hit by a truck.
–> (Optional, but Highly Recommended) when Kara & Alice cross the second highway, don’t press any buttons with them. Then they die and you won’t have to play their chapters anymore, thus drastically reducing the time to finish this playthrough! Only works on Experienced Difficulty! - 4) The Nest: When chasing the deviant over rooftops, Connor falls down (mess up the button sequence after you slide down the rooftop past the first greenhouse).
- –> (Optional, but Highly Recommended) The Eden Club: Connor shoots the two Tracis. Lose the fight against them (don’t press any buttons) and then shoot them in the back. This will greatly decrease reputation with Hank so there’s a better chance he will shoot you in The Bridge chapter. It will also lead to the Tracis showing up in the evidence locker of ‘Last Chance, Connor’ so you can get the death in that chapter.
- 5) The Bridge: Hank shoots Connor. Must have very low reputation with Hank (hostile) and shot the Tracis in “Chapter: The Eden Club”. If you are friends with Hank he will not shoot you.
6) Public Enemy: Connor interrogates the androids in the kitchen. The android on the left is the deviant. He rips out Connor’s heart. Let time run out, don’t get the heart and wait for Connor to shut down. - –> (Optional) Public Enemy: If Connor did not kill the two Tracis in ‘The Eden Club’ he must catch up to the deviant here instead of waiting to shut down. In the corridor choose SAVE HANK. Then Connor gets killed by the deviant, but the police shoots the deviant so he’s available later in the evidence locker which is needed for the Connor Death in ‘Last Chance, Connor’.
- –> (Optional) Freedom March: At the end of the march choose ATTACK > don’t press any buttons to lose fight against the police > when Markus grabs the pistol make him kill himself.
- –> (Optional) Meet Kamski: Don’t shoot the Chloe. This is so Kamski cannot give you the location to Jericho and you must go to the evidence locker where the next death takes place.
- 7) Last Chance, Connor: Figure out the location to Jericho. When Gavin (FBI guy) comes in, lose the fight against him, do not press any buttons. Then Gavin shoots Connor. If it skips the evidence locker section it’s either because you shot the Chloe in ‘Meet Kamski’ and got Jericho key from Kamski or it’s because you don’t have enough evidence to find the location to Jericho (had to shoot the two Tracis in ‘The Eden Club’ or the broadcast tower deviant died in ‘Public Enemy’).
- 8) Crossroads (Kara & Markus dead): Connor stays a machine. He then goes after North (the female android leader). On his way he gets stopped by a policeman. Pick dialogue FIGHT and lose the fight. Then he shoots Connor in the head.
- [Optional] Kara & Markus alive: if Kara and Markus are still alive in your game, have Connor stay a machine. Later in the chapter when Connor fights Markus (in the room where Markus wants to place an explosive timer), lose the fight against Markus. Just don’t press any buttons and Markus will shoot Connor.
- *TROPHY UNLOCKED –> THE TROPHY UNLOCKS WHEN REACHING THE FINAL CHAPTER “BATTLE FOR DETROIT”. THE NEXT TWO DEATHS ARE NOT NEEDED FOR THE TROPHY, JUST INCLUDED FOR THE SAKE OF COMPLETION.
- 9) Battle for Detroit (Hank committed suicide, Connor stayed machine): When Connor is on the rooftop with the sniper rifle, Captain Allen and his SWAT team will find you. They order you to stand down. Pick the dialogues CONTINUE > FIGHT.
- 10) Battle for Detroit (Everyone died): Immediately after the last death, you’ll see a cutscene with North running away to a CyberLife store. She’s the only survivor of her revolution. A new Connor goes after her. You are faced with the final choice in the game, SHOOT or SPARE her. Do neither! Let the timer run down and North will shoot Connor. The End.
The I’ll be Back trophy unlocks shortly after the 8th death, in the flowchart after “Night of the Soul”.
For me it popped after Night Of The Soul as well, looks like it requires 8 deaths rather than 10. Also, while Hank did shoot me, I improved the relationship afterwards to Tense and he did not resign or shoot himself.
Hi I played The Interrogation and the deviant killed but when I wanted to get another trophy I played it again but he didn’t kill me so I should do it again?
Throwing it out there…Simon saved my Marcus at the walk. So even if the CyberLife guard isn’t with you (I made sure he wasn’t as I wanted a quicker run which involved killing Marcus) some other guy will ruin your attempt kill Marcus xD
Yea, I literally just did the same thing. Seems you have to get Simon killed at the broadcasting station by assaulting the guards and letting Simon get shot, then after the broadcast, on the rooftop, terminate him
Is the same if Simon is killed by the SWAT instead of killing him on the rooftop?
didn’t happen for me. simon returned after i spared him and marcus was still able to shoot himself.
The guy that comes into the evidence room isn’t the fbi agent it’s the other cop, and it must be be suspicious, so when it talks to you before you go in the evidence room you must answer ironic

If connor died at some points in my previous gameplay do I need to repeat these points again ?
You need a consistent story line wih all deaths of connor in it. You may choose to do this on your existing story line but once you replayed a chapter all further chapters have to be replayed fully. I did the tropy by selecting all chapters of my existing story line one after the other and replayed them (trying to complete decision branches on the way). This does include chapters of Markus and Klara.
Just wanna ask. I already have replayed the playthrough but i missed the death because of gavin. Because i answer him calmly before i reached the evidence room. Should i make another playthrough again? Or chapter select is enough at this point?
In that case it’s enough to replay from “Last Chance Connor”.
But i already finished the playthrough until battle for detroit. Is it still working?

frustrated. I killed Connor almost every time i could (missed the Gavin one but he suicided on the roof, got killed in jericho, and got killed by Markus), and it still didn’t count. So i think he died 10 times and i didn’t get the trophy. I guess you can’t miss Gavin no matter what! I hated killing Connor and making him and hank enemies, so not getting the trophy makes it worse 🙁
I have the same problem before. But i already platinumed it now. In case, you only missed the gavin one. U just have to replay that chapter and then continue until night in the soul chapter. The trophy will pop up after that chapter.

So my most recent save had Connor dead during The Hostage and The Investigation. Can I pick up from On the Run and get all the deaths from there on to trigger this or do I truly have to start a brand new game?

Obviously you missed the very first opportunity to die as Connor during the “The Hostage”.
I’ve killed Connor every chance and when I got to Waiting For Hank he threw his hissy fit and went to get lunch and we didn’t go find Kara and do the highway chase. What do I need to do?

3-died in the nest by getting run over by the harvester after fall down the roof
4-hank shot me in the bridge
5-died in public enemy by letting it run out of time
6- last change let Gavin kill me
7- crossroad let the soldier kill me
8- battle for detroid let captain Allen kill me
9- battle of detroid did nothing with north so she killed me
but nothing popped…. so not sure what I did wrong, not looking forward to a new playthrough…

Anyways deleted save games and did a complete new run, also keeping an eye out for the number on Connor his jacket as some site suggested the game might not register a death and the number won’t go up

For 7, you need to spell out that you need to LEAVE when Gavin first appears! I chose the other option, and he never came back to kill me. Fucking made me have to do the whol thing all over from the beginning. 🙁
I didn’t think and killed Kara and Alice with Todd so I can’t get Connor killed by the truck anymore. Can I still get the trophy if I do all of the other deaths or does it have to be the 8 first ones?

They forgot to add that when Gavin sees you trying to access evidence room you have to choose either IGNORE GAVIN or DISMISS GAVIN so that hell be suspicious andattack you once you found out the location of Jericho.
