Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has a total of 107 possible Crew Members to obtain. Crew Members are assigned to the different spots in your ship and boarding squads, then used in ship and on-foot battles. Crew Members come in bronze, silver, and gold rarity, with the gold members being able to reach the highest overall level and being the most powerful. Crew Members are obtained through Scouting objectives, completing Substories, or purchased through minigame point exchanges. Obtaining Crew Members is required for the following trophies:

Welcome to the Goro Pirates! – Recruited 30 members to the Goro Pirates. - The Goro Pirates Set Sail! – Recruited 50 members to the Goro Pirates.
- Goro Pirates, Go Go Go! – Recruited 80 members to the Goro Pirates.
Crew Members that are obtained through scouting are all found in either Hawaii or Madlantis, and if they are currently available will be visible on the map along with their requirement for being recruited when you move your cursor over their icon. You can also view an overall list of them in the Tasks > Scouting menu.
The below list is of all Crew Members as they are displayed in the Goro Pirates > Challenges menu, under the Pirate Crew challenges starting from Yar Me Hearties where you can view a list of all possible Crew Members. This menu doesn’t distinguish between Support Squad members and normal Crew Members, so if you have someone unlocked but aren’t seeing them in the normal Crew Member selection make sure they’re not a Support Squad member.

Legendary Farmer Morishita – Hawaii: Near Anaconda Harbor Park, give him a Roughly Chopped Stir-Friend Veggie Bento created in Goro Goro Kitchen.
Ranko Sarutobi – Hawaii: At Boogie Woogie Steak House in Anaconda Shopping Center, agree to give her $2,000.
Businessman Taro – Hawaii: At the intersection of Lotus St. and Lantern St., beat him in a fight.
Sharpshooter Takumi – Hawaii: At Diamond Head bar, complete the 1-Shot Pool challenge on normal difficulty.
Surfer Jay – Hawaii: West side of Anaconda Shopping Center on Sunset St., give him a Kraken-chan (UFO catch prize, round octopus). If the prize you need isn’t currently in the machines speak with the arcade attendant to have the prizes swapped.

Squid Hunter Kennosuke – Hawaii: On the beach near Crystal Aloha Resort, bring him a Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp. These can be purchased from Nolan’s Boat shop located out in the water.
Osakana-chan – Hawaii: On the beach near Crystal Aloha Resort, speak with her when you are Pirate Rank 5.

Animal Rescue
Below Crew Members are first obtained through Animal Rescue objectives, introduced in Chapter 2. After they are rescued they move to the Goro Kingdom on Rich Island. You then go there and feed them to increase their affection level. When their affection is at maximum interact with them to add them to the crew. Affection is raised either by feeding them pet food (can be purchased from Stella’s Shop) or Essence of Pet Snacks (made in Goro Goro Kitchen) which feeds all current animals at once.
Onigiri – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, obtained automatically in Chapter 2 when the other animal rescue targets are unlocked.
Allure – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, near L&L Hawaiin Barbecue. Speak with the man while wearing the Goromi outfit set.
Turtle – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, near Crepes for Me. Defeat the men bullying the dog.
Zoomies – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, beside Pier taxi drop off. Speak with the man, then go to the second location where the dog moves to in the dock area and choose the option “Be gentle”.
Phoenix – Rich Island: Animal Rescue, obtained automatically in Chapter 1 when you are introduced to the Goro Kingdom.
Alarm Cluck – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, near Ahi Poke Garden. Defeat the man getting angry at the chicken.
CoCo – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, near Cream & Berry (River St.) Go through all the options to get the monkey out of the tree.
Barkley – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, north end of Anaconda Shopping Center. Give the woman pet food for the dog.
The Gourmand – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, along Riverside Walk. Bring him a Wild-Caught Sashimi. Can be purchased from Grayson’s Weapons at Sea shop out in the ocean by Aloha Beach.
Sanzen – Hawaii: Animal Rescue, in Sunset Park. Give the man $3,000.
