Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Wine, Women and Blood Walkthrough

Wine, Women and Blood is a task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Wine, Women and Blood side task.

• Requirement: Complete Melee at the Mill task

• Questline: Melee at the Mill > More Melee at the Mill > Wine, Women and Blood > The Best for Last
• Quest Description: There’s a fighting competition in a Zhelejov inn. I could join too.

Starting Location: Wine, Women and Blood

After completing Melee at the Mill, you can speak with Miller Kreyzl about more fighting, and he suggests going to Zhelejov for a tournament. You can then head there and speak with Innkeeper Lawrence to start this task.

Make sure the barber Fiala can participate in the fights

Innkeeper Lawrence says that you can fight, but you first need to make it so Fiala can fight, as his wife does not want him to. He will be shown as the marked location first.

After speaking him the first time he’ll explain the situation with his wife, and you need to convince her to allow him to fight. His wife Dorothy is who owns the bathhouse, and she is almost always sitting on the bench in front of the bathhouse with the next marked location as speaking with Fiala.

You can pass either a Persuasion or Impression speech check to convince her or offer to make up for any losses if money from the others being injured.

After you successfully convince her with one of the options, go back and speak with Fiala again to tell him he’s allowed to fight.

Ask Hannes for a fight

Now with Fiala able to fight, you will basically repeat the steps for the Melee at the Mill quest, fighting three different opponents with a buy-in of 10 Groschen each time. If you are during the day you can go inside the barn where the other two men might already be fighting each other. Speak with Hannes to start the first fight.

Defeat Hannes

You’ll now be fighting Hannes. These three fights aren’t much more of a challenge than the ones you had faced at the mill, with the three opponents being slightly stronger but not attacking much faster. You can use a similar strategy to before or perfect block and countering, but if you want the fights to go faster and have leveled Unarmed up you can typically just continually left-right combo to knock out each opponent.

If you are struggling with these fights you can wait a few in-game days and complete the repeatable tasks More Melee at the Mill by rechallenging the opponents at Lower Semine Mill, which awarded more Unarmed XP each time.

Talk to Hannes

After winning, speak with Hannes to collect your winnings.

Challenge Bohunek to a fight/Defeat Bohunek/Talk to Bohunek

Next find Bohunek, who should already be nearby if you want to do the fight all in a row. Once more agree to the buy in, then win the fight to continue.

Challenge Fiala to a fight/Defeat Fiala /Talk to Fiala

Finally you can challenge Fiala to a fight. He is the toughest of the three, but the same strategy should work for him. Be aware that he may try to grab more often than previous opponents, and when this occurs you can just keep hitting to attack in the grab.

Collect your prize from the innkeeper

After beating all three opponents, you can now speak with Innkeeper Lawrence to collect your winnings for beating all three opponents. He will also tell you there is one more person in the region who is considered the best fighter, which automatically starts the task The Best for Last.
