Flowchart 100% Complete:
Here’s a quick overview of the 100% complete flowchart for “Shades of Color”:
Checkpoint: Walking in the Park
- Read “Secrets of Androids”: As soon as the chapter starts, hit to scan for a yellow icon on a bench, in front of you on the right side. The yellow indicates a magazine collectible! Go pick it up. As with most other magazines in the game, it consists of two cover topics. Be sure to scroll through every page (swipe down) and also check the second cover (swipe right). They count as separate collectibles! Remember to always check every page/topic in all magazines you find in the story. They are needed for trophy “Bookworm”.
- Read “Climate Change-Up”: The same magazine as described above, swipe right on the touchpad.
- Stare at the Hot Dog Vendor: Go through the park, across the street to the plaza. Right after the crosswalk there’s a hot dog vendor. Stand in front of his hot dog cart for a while. (*Credit to dalailama1989 for the tip)
- Hot Dog Vendor Pushes Markus: Keep standing in front of the hot dog vendor until he gets mad and pushes Markus away.
- Listen to Busker: Go through the park, across the street to the plaza. In the middle of the plaza is a man playing the guitar. Watch him with for a moment.
- Watch Preacher: In the plaza, in front of the building with the big letters “JAMES & CARTER” there’s a preacher talking badly about androids. You will pass by him on your way to the paint shop. You must look at him with for a moment.
- Preacher Yells at Markus: When you look at the preacher (as described above) he will yell at you.
- Visit Paints Store: This is your main task, unmissable. Follow the waypoint into the alley.
- Collect Package: Once inside the paints store, pay and pick up the package.
- Protesters Harass Markus: On your way back to the bus stop walk near the protesters and they will attack Markus. This leads to Carl making a comment about his roughed-up clothes in ‘The Painter’. If you walk near the android showcase at the building behind the protesters this is potentially missable and they might not attack Markus if he’s too far away.
- Markus Took the Bus: Your last main objective (unmissable) is to take the bus back home. The bus stop is marked as a main objective. Once there press to wait for the bus.

Douglas York says
The Protesters Harass Markus part is avoidable, simply walk behind them keeping close to the shops. This causes a slight change in the next scene where Markus’ shirt is torn and Carl asks what happened (got harassed), or his shirt isn’t torn and no comment (did not get harassed).
You may need to watch the busker and be yelled at by the preacher for this to work.

Thanks, updated 🙂

Is the harassment QTE void unbeatable trophy ? i think i press fast enough but my character get beat up anyway.
Michael says
For my playthrough, Markus got beat up by the group, yet I still received the Unbeatable trophy.
Chris says
There are two ways to avoid the protesters, if you walk alongside the shops you can simply walk past them, but you can also walk along the sidewalk and it doesn’t trigger the cut scene

This is just something I wanted to mention since I wasted my time due to this mistake but don’t mistake Ben’s hotdogs for the hotdog cart ?? This hotdog cart is right of the crosswalk.
OMER SAHIN says
In the bus stop, instead of walking directly to the bus’ android exclusive door, scan and you’ll see that there is a yellow mark in the front door. Marcus walks towards it and a cutscene starts he reads a sign that the door is for only humans he walks again to the rear door. This is not included in the flowchart but a nice detail.
OMER SAHIN says
Also, if marcus walks near the cyberlife store he can stop and watch an android model for a while. There is a couple nearby who wants to upgrade their android because all their friends do the same and you listen to that conversation.
